- I liked the class rooms are well equipped with both black and white board and with a projector they give good environment and they are central air conditioned
- The campus is greeny with full of trees and the distance between lecture hall and hostels is also not that far it is quite comfortable
- Sports,technical and cultural clubs are good and well maintained
Dislikes
- Hostels for girls is not that good .A room is shared with 3 members so better keep expectation low
- Food is not that satisfactory at the same time not that bad also
- As it is an open campus few restrictions are to followed
Course Curriculum Overview
In an year there are 2 mis sems and 2 end sems you can more time before end sem but the gap between mid sem end sem is small . Cg is not relative according to you grade cg is give so it depends on what you write and also the correction of the particular professor In josaa councelling i got this particular course nothing special in choosing this course
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees for a sem is 90000 and mess fee is 17000 and per year hostel fees is 15000 Based on annual income if eligible you can apply for fee remission and you can also get education loan coming to scholarships there are some particular specifications for getting scholarship according to the income
Campus Life
There are three main fests in the college yearly one is urja (sports fest ) , culfest ( cultural fest) ,ojass ( technical fest) each fest is done for 3 days clubs of that particular field manage it and the student council organises everything related to the fest . When it comes to social life you will have so many opportunities to explore . Other than fests few events are also done . Library is also good has good accessibility of books but wifi is not that good other than that everything is good Class rooms are the best . They are Central air conditioned,has a projector and also quite spacious
Admission
The admission process is quite lengthy it took half day to complete it before coming to this college for admission once visit the official website and follow the instructions in the notice and bring all the documents required which is very important The thing i didn't like in the admission process is they made us wait for so much time
Faculty
Interaction with faculty depends on the lecturer but when needed you can definitely get a chance to meet them and in labs the class is divided into 3 groups each containing 40 students there you can have good interaction and when it comes to faculty to student ratio its 1:120 Faculty is quite active and passionate towards teaching most of them make the class interactive out of the subject they conduct events which are helpful in making ourselves better Some faculty members may be open to collaborating with students on research projects, internships, or other academic endeavors. Understanding these opportunities can enhance your learning experience. Understanding how faculty members approach teaching can help you prepare for their classes. Some may emphasize hands-on activities, while others prefer lectures or group discussions.Some faculty members actively participate in student clubs, organizations, or extracurricular activities. Their involvement can enhance your college experience
Interview Experience
I got admission into NIT Jamshedpur through the JEE Main exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency. The exam tests Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with a mix of multiple-choice and numerical questions, totaling 300 marks. Based on my JEE Main rank, I participated in the JoSAA counselling process, where seats are allotted considering category, home state quota, and preferences. To be eligible, candidates must have passed Class 12 with PCM subjects and at least 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile of their board. I prepared through consistent practice, mock tests, and focused revision of NCERT and coaching material.
