Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is set by VTU and by honest opinion is that it really needs to be updated more and many more things to be included and obselete things must be replaced and teachers help us to finish the college curriculum and provide you top notch notes to prepare for college exams aswell competitive exams.

Placement Experience

3.5

To be honest my college has a better placement ratio in compared to surrounding colleges and even many at times our college is choosen for pool campus and very many other students different college are allowed to take part in the campus related activities. There is good history of my college non IT students from Civil, Mechanical and Electrical are holding in greater position in govt sectors too.

Fees and Financial Aid

To be very Frank my college is very reasonable and they don't ask you to pay any hefty amounts and some moments they will ask you for exam fees and all those things but it is still mangeable, because i have overhead from my other college friends about their fees structure and I'm very with ours and you also get scholarship amount of your turion fees and mostly you will be paying only hostel fees and that too is you are staying there. Now speaking about the placement i feel non IT branches should also focus on IT subjects from the initial days of their college as we are seeing the world is heading towards the recession so please be prepared in advance and many good companies visit our college and hire maximum of our students and we have maintained that good relationship with the companies.

Campus Life

3.5

Overall expy was good and could have been better if the things that i discussed previously were implemented and there are many clubs in our college such as music, Gymkhana, art,.paint etc and we also emphasize on sports with academics

Admission

To be specific about the admission process it is quite seamless if you get proper guidance and know what you want to do in future and keeping these things in mind the reservation benifits are availed to many different caste holders such SC/ST/OBC /EWS and our state or central government gives labour scholarship which is around 55000 per year and the exams are held very strict and you need to be prepared good well in advance and don't expect any teachers to show lineancy during the exams and i feel the students and parents must be first made aware about the couses that the college is offering and the importance of every course in the present world.

Faculty

4

In my college there is no dearth of professors, i think every subject has atleast 2-3 teachers and they really have good mentoring they solve our personal doubts too we can approach them anytime we need and they are available and they really help a lot building our career and during teaching hours they are very strict about the timings and attendence and many technical programmes will be conducted from the department side or college side and plz don't expect like tier 1 city colleges but whatever you will always build good bond with teachers and friends and it takes more time to connect your juniors and seniors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
