- Good campus architecture and well maintained classroom library and auditorium and students are set free to play any games in the campus
- Well and highly educated friendly staff interacts well with the students and help them in academics by clearing all the doubts they have
- Hostels are present in the campus itself and they are very neat and hygenic and have all the facilities which a student need to live comfortably
Dislikes
- The campus is far away from the city and transportation is not that good only 5 buses go from campus to city every day
- There are no air conditioners in the hostels so that makes the hostel rooms hot especially in the summer season
Course Curriculum Overview
the course curriculum is very well set the exams are conducted very well without making any stress to the students and the classes are also around 10-15 lectures a week which would be comfortable for students and the paper patterns for this exams are also well designed by the course IC and this made me choose this course
Internships Opportunities
the internship oppurtunities provided in the campus are great students can get oppurtunities starting from third year to end of four years the oppurtunities will be sent through a mail and students intrested can apply online for internships they can also do a research project under any proffesor if the proffesor agree
Placement Experience
from fourth year 1st semester students will be eligible for campus placements the companies which visit every year are google microsoft qualcomm infosys etc and each company takes around 3-4 students every year the highest package offered upto date is 60 lpa and the average package is around 15-18 lpa the percentage of students getting placements is very high its around 80-90 percent and if we dont get a campus placements my idea is to try a job through alumini network because bits has good and active alumini network
Fees and Financial Aid
the tution fee for now is 2,50000 for semester in first year and would incerase by 5 percentage every year for upcoming batches and coming to the scholarships there are two types of scholarships provided merit scholarship and merit cum need scholarship merit scholarship needs a cgpa of 9.5 above to get 40 percent and 9.8 above to get 100 percent and coming to merit cum need scholarship it need a cgpa of 6 to get 25 percent and 7.5 above to get 40 and 9 above to get 80 percent the complete cost of completion of education would be around 27 lakhs
Campus Life
starting from the fests there are two major fests held on campus and they are named as atmos and pearl mostly atmos will be held in month of november and pearl will be held in the month of march apart from these there are also some minor events likes sanskriti arena and so on. The library books and journals are widely accesible to the students and even they are available online on library website the classrooms are equiped with two boards and. projector they are fully air conditioned and peacefull. the sports and extra curricular activities are amazing in our campus there are many sports events internally and the team memebers also go to other colleges to play games arena is the sports fest conducted on campus the clubs and departments are highly active in the college they take inductions every year to take fershers in and make them active and part of their club or department
Hostel Facilities
the hostel in the campus are two sharing rooms for first and second year students and single rooms for third and fourth year the facilities provided in the hostel are great and these hostels are welll maintained by the management the only drawback is there are no AC in the hostel rooms but you can find them in common rooms the registration process is simple the hostel will be alloted at the time of admission itself no need of any extra process to be done the messs provided consits different varities of food and the tasty is average the nearest locality where you can find a PG is not so near its secundrabad around 20 km from the campus so its better to stay in the campus hostel
Admission
The admission process was very lengthy and time taking there are around 7 rounds of iteration the thing I would say is 7 rounds of no use and coming to the cutoff the cutoff are rising very high every year when I was applying the cutoff approximately raised by 15 marks for every branch and I think this would continue the application related information will be given in bits admission website and there will be no reservations its purely merit-based the exam will be conducted twice a year and its name is BITSAT
Faculty
the faculty here are very highly educated almost everyone holds a phd degree from iit or bits itself everyone will be in a situatuion to answer any question asked by the student the students can interact with them anytime in the college hours whenever they get any doubts their teaching style would be well organised and understandable
