Likes
- One of the standout features of is the remarkable infrastructure. From modern classrooms to laboratories, libraries, auditorium,etc. the college provides students with good facilities.
- At JUIT, students are presented with plenty of learning opportunities. Through interactive lectures and engaging discussions, students are empowered to develop the skills needed to succeed.One aspect is keeping the curriculum updated and relevant.
- There are many fests and events held throughout the academic year. These events provide students with opportunities to showcase their talents and also make the college experience memorable.
Dislikes
- One area that could use improvement is the sports facilities. Although the college provides some amenities for sports, there is a lack of diverse facilities and resources for students interested in athletics.
- A point of concern for many students is the relatively high cost of tuition and hostel fees. The financial burden associated with attending JUIT can be bad for some students and their families.
- Another aspect that could be better is the quality of the mess food. There is room for improvement in terms of variety, taste, and overall quality.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curricular in computer science and engineering (CSE) at Jaypee University of Information Technology is well designed for the most part. Though some important skills could be taught. The exams here are held thrice a semester.
Internships Opportunities
There are not a lot of opportunities for internship but there are still companies that come for internship opportunities for both technical and non technical roles. The roles offered are Software Development Engineering, Web development, app development, etc.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement from 7th semester of the course. Companies come for both technical and non technical roles. There are not a lot of opportunities this year due to recession. Highest package was 21 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
Total tution fees is around Rs 800000 for four years. Their is a hike in fees every two semesters or one year. The hostel fees is Rs 80000 for double occupancy and 87500 for single occupancy for one semester.
Campus Life
The annual fest LF is held every year during the month of May. Their are other cultural fests as well. There is a sports fest that is held every semester in which students from other colleges also take part.
Hostel Facilities
Their are three boys hostels and one girls hostel. Their is a seperate hostel for 1st year students. Their is a common mess for all the students. Their is a cafeteria and a tuck shop in academics block of the campus. The meal quality in mess could be better. The hostel fees for a semester is 87500 which is not very affordable for alot of students. The rooms come with a balcony, bed, table, cupboard, hot air, and a chair. Their are many PGs nearby campus.
Admission
The admission process can be on the basis of Joint Entrance Exam mains as well as the percentage in class 12th. The exams are held three times every semester which should not be the case because it gives less time to develop skills.
Faculty
Most of the faculty here are well qualified for their job and have good knowledge of their particular subjects. Most of the faculty are very helpful to students during classes and projects. Some of the teachers don't focus on giving practical knowledge but most of them are good.
