Likes

This college is situated at a prime location in the city of Rourkela which makes it accessible for all.
The cleanliness and the regularity of the classes and the faculties member support as one of its main highlights.
The quality education and the highly experience faculties present are some of the things which I liked the most.

Dislikes

Functions and sports need to be arranged in regular basis.
Study tour need to be arrange for exposure of the students.

Here all the faculties complete their course syllabus within the stipulated time which is an additional benefit for the students as the get more number of time for the revision and doubt clearance. The subject classes are regular.

Here in this college it provides a number of scholarship such as medhavriti pathani Samanta ecetra which helps the students in the academic career. The fees of this college is reasonable and can be affordable by any middle class family.

The infrastructure of this college is one of the eye catching thing full stop the labs are filled with modern equipments which are required to conduct various experiments. The campus life was very good where I participated in lot many co curricular activities as well as in many cultural programs.

Admission

The admission to this college is very simple one can easily get admitted and the cut of marks actually around 40 to 50% for each subject. One can easily go through the admission process without any difficulties.

Teachers are cooperative. If you have any doubt you could ask the respective teacher freely.
Have proper system. Everything done on time.
Campus is good and available all most all facilities.

Dislikes

May be the protest for exam unnecessarily

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate 5 out of 5 to this course curriculum in terms of relevance and Comolrehesiveness. As most of the student know there are 2 semester in a year and also 2 mid semesters. I think the difficulty level depend on student.

Ravenshaw is the best

Likes

Different types of sports available and support of staff
Big playground with long stage where all pogramm happens
Kanika library and e resource which provide us all necessary books

Dislikes

I dislike interfere of politics in college
Absence of students in class room which makes teachers uncomfortable
Less area of University campus for future development

Placement Experience:

I don't know more about how placement season in ravenshaw. But mu friend study in BBA department ,he said in our college 80% of students get placement. They get avarage 16 lakh per annum salary. Our university alumni are very strong and they Collab with various big companies.

Likes

Our college has really good faculty who have really high expertise in their own subjects
It has a lot of facilities and amenities
The college has labs which provide proper practical experience

Dislikes

The infrastructure could be improved and made more better
Could have better opportunities for the future
The sports facilities also could be improved

Students become eligible in 4th year for campus placement Multiple Ngos and agricultural companies make offers 80% students get placements After getting degree i plan to get higher studies and also prepare for competitive exams like oas

RIE: NOT A COLLEGE BUT AN EMOTION

Likes

The college has a very large lush green campus with all kind of facilities available starting from hostel to guest house to temple and library. Campus is full with greenary and staffs are very well mannered.
College has a very large library with 84000 books. Students can avail library from 9 am to 8 pm. Library is perfectly air conditioned and gives you the best vibe.
The botany zoology chemistry physics labs are very well maintained with all instruments present. Teachers are very friendly

Dislikes

Sometime classes are not regular and syllabus is not completed at time.
Infrastructure is not that up to the mark. Can be improved

Placement Experience:

RIE is basically a Teachers training institute. Students are eligible to sit in placement from 8 semesters of b.sc b.Ed. a variety of schools from different parts of India come to visit RIE in the season of placement. There is a provision of 100% placement. Students are placed in variety of schools in the region starting from West Bengal Chhattisgarh even in Pune. Though the package is not that attractive cause here the package maximum goes up to 4.2 lakhs per annum. That's why many students choose to go for higher education rather than for placement. But 100% placement is there. The average package is about 3.6 lakhs per annum, which is not that good. A huge part of students go for higher education rather than placement.
