Course Curriculum Overview
MME is a course offered by only NITs and IITs which reduces the competition as compared to other fields. Plus the curriculum is very efficient. It not only focuses on delivering information but how to implement the info in the real world. However, there is always room for improvement. The frequency of practicals can be increased. The exams are held very frequently but not too frequently giving us just the right amount of time to prepare ourselves.
Internships Opportunities
IITs provide internships and many private companies. Internships are not restricted by the year of study. Even the college itself provides internship opportunities and in addition to that decent stipend is also provided.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement after 3rd year. Various companies have visited our college including JSW, tata steels, Microsoft etc The highest package was about 45lpa and the average was about 15lpa More than 90% of students gets placed I plan to pursue M.tech after completing my current course
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is based on the income of the family of the student. Below 1 lakh income means you have to pay around 10000 per semester, for students having income below 5 lakh and above 1 lakh, the fee is around 3000 And for students having income>5 lakh, 73000 is the fee per sem. This fee includes all the charges
Campus Life
Cultural fests like Rang e Chinar, techvaganza, soapbox events and lot more. Books and journals from every field are present in a large quantity Every classroom is equipped with smart boards mics and speakers Various inter-department tournaments are held regularly. Both indoor and outdoor sports are played with great infrastructure
Admission
Eligibility of 75% in 12th std and JEE mains is the qualifying criteria. All the reservations that are recognized by the govt. Are provided by the college. Exams are held twice every semester with about 3 months between every exam. More staff can be engaged while physical verification
Faculty
The faculty is very highly qualified with almost every member having a PHD in their respective fields. Despite their qualification, they never disagree with interacting with students even outside of their working hours. They are usually the ones to identify our problems and most of the time, they provide us with the best solutions
