Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose law to pursue because it has more opportunities and many options to work in the future so we can say it motivates me to choose law over any other field. The areas of improvement that they should are their traditional teaching methods the digital study which may help a lot for the better understanding of the students and improve their learning skills.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Zenith society which is a ngo in gwalior. This only provides internship opportunities to the students of the law department of the university. But there is no stipend provided by them to the students of the law department. They work for the legal aid in the rural areas.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for a year are around 35k and at the time of admission 2k additional amount which is fully refundable at the completion of the degree. The scholarship is not provided by the college itself but you can apply for government scholarships like mmvy, post metric, etc. There are no campus placements or employment.

Campus Life

2

There are no clubs for the students for their betterment. There are only competitions for the students which are organized by the institute otherwise there are no extracurricular activities here for the students. The books are available in the library.

Admission

The eligibility for the course is 12th passed by any recognized board with any stream. The application date will be on their website i.e. jiwaji official website, where you can apply for the application procedure. Also, the timing of the exams is the same as the other universities.

Faculty

4.5

Effective mentoring and coaching proccesses empowers the students to become more confident and they will able to solve their problems. The faculty-to-student ratio is 60 students taught by a teacher in the class but every student would able to understand their teachings. If a student has any issue or doubt so they can directly contact that particular teacher of that subject in the staffroom and clear their doubt.

Placements I think we should skip it as very rarely do we get placements from Dr Harsingh Gour University. So, most of us are searching on our own while some are applying for further studies. I am also planning for IILM and will keep giving Bar Council Exams alongside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are some extra curricular activities which are worth mentioning. There are debate competitions, rangoli competition, speech competition, sports activities (of name only) and some other activities as well. There is nothing in the collage which prepares you for real world. There are no interships, there is no court visit, but they sometimes invite local judges and members of judiciary to guide students. Students do not attend classes because they know that there is nothing to learn there.

The syllabus is not updated often. We are only taught theories and not give the opportunity to have a practical experience. It is only in 5th year that we get skme excursions and moot courts.
