What Students Say

Likes

It's a private college and it is situated near Delhi that's why you should choose this college.
You can explore many things as this college is near Delhi, prime location.
Low academics pressure so you can free to learn coding and other thing ,no dress code.

Dislikes

Campus is not much good it is just 19 acres
Placement of this year is not good as expected but it's good
Some teachers are good some are rude they just teach academics

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to study Computer Science and in JEE my percentile was not good as your???? and this college is near Delhi so there are more opportunities. I think curriculum is not good because in first year you will study chemistry physics and many boring subjects which you will not be using in future. They should teach CSE core Subjects form first year like NITs. 2 CAE exam and one semester exam every semester.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 109000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Many companies comes in college for placement. Internship is usually unpaid you will just get certificate to write in your resume. I've not worked on any projects as I'm a first year student till now so I can't tell this

Placement Experience

3.5

College provides campus placement but as you know there are about 2000 students so everyone will not get placed you have to develop skills. This year highest package was About 40 lakh by Autodesk and offcourse you are near Delhi so don't only depend on campus placement i would suggest you to go for off campus placement offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

First year fee: 1,15,603 From 2nd year: 1,09,603 In Greater Noida hostels are 1 lakh per year so in 4 year about 4 lakh and academic total fees will be around 4 lakh 40 thousands so total fees will be around 8.5 lakh

Campus Life

Many clubs are there in college but I haven't joined any of them. If you wish you can join clubs. There is a central library Classroom are just good. Sports and other activities happens in college Unifest is organised every year and college claim that it is Asia's biggest fest but I think???? fhey are lieing.

Admission

You Should be 12th qualified and you have to give JEE Mains exam secure atleast 80%ile to get admission in CSE branch and I will suggest you to take admissions only in CSE branch. Exam difficultly is moderate you can passout with 8 CGPA by studying just 1 week before exam ????. If you are average student like me then go for 15 days preparation before exam. I will suggest you don't don't focus on academics much focus on skill building like coding or...... According to you which you want yo prefer

Faculty

Teachers are PhD holder and some are are very experienced and some joined this year. Teacher to student ratio is not much good because from 2021 many branches added in this college like AlML AIDS and DATA Science and other course so in 2nd year and 3rd year my senior tells that teacher are less You can approach teacher they will try their best to help you vut expection is everywhere some are very rude but most of the teachers are good

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
