Likes

The atmosphere around the campus is really good and aspiring, you find peace and inspirational figures
People here are really cooperative and supportive. They are ready to help anyone anywhere anytime, kind hearted and lovely people

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs to be developed and the classrooms need some maintained
It's an open campus and the disturbance from honking around in the streets is disturbing this needs to be fixed
Excursions and internships programs need to be implemented more for a better understanding and development of the students

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum according to me needs some changes as of now the study should more focus on the contemporary world and events and should lean towards a more integrated study for the overall development of the students

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of Cotton University if affordable and flexible. Students find less difficulty in paying their fee. The complete cost of my education is around 30k Scholarships are also provided and students' are free to apply

Campus Life

The environment around the university campus is really good and the students are well cooperative and friendly. One of the most famous festival here is the varsity week Books and journals could be availed from the Library easily The management should work on developing the class into smart classes Sports area need an improvement

Admission

Any student is eligible if they qualify the eligibility criteria as of my admission the cut off was 97% for political science. The application form, application fees and application fees is readily available in the Cotton University official website Reservation to the SC, ST , OBC's is available on a limited basis Exams are held on the basis of the course curriculum

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is around 3:10. Professors are well accomodated with the students and does not affect much of the learning experiences The faculty of political science department has high credentials and their approach of teaching is quite appreciated Teachers are always ready to solve any student's problem anytime

The admission criteria are based on 12th class grades. The examination of the 12th grade should be given from any recognized board. The admission is given on the basis of merit. My name appeared in the first list itself. Then I had secure my admission by completing all the formalities of the admission.

Remarks:

If you are opting for a cheap college with quality education then our college is just for you. The attitude of the faculty and the helpfulness of the Vice Chancellor also the principal is very impressive. All of the students take part in extra curricular activities but also serious towards their studies which makes our college the best college in north eastern states.

Admission:

For admission, anyone who has passed his/her 10+2 in any stream can apply by going to the online admission portal(website) but at the time of mine, there was no such facility so We use to go college and apply directly by filling the form(paper-based).

Remarks:

Overall, I'd say college is very good. It is one of the finest colleges in the state. I came from elsewhere to study at this college and I don't regret my decision. I made many new friends and now I am used to the environment so it will be difficult for me to leave this place.

True aspects on a University

I choosed the college after my 12 th as I didn't want to lose this year at home studying online for any entrance. But fir sure I will be giving entrance fir other better college . Review of the oldest University of Assam , cotton University

Admission for master's is done through an entrance exam. The form for it is available on the university website. Eligibility is decided through the entrance score. Of the total seats in each department, 50% are reserved for students from the Cotton University itself, and the rest 50% are for students from other universities. The 50% of seats reserved for university students are given based on merit (cgpa of bachelor's). And the seats for students from other universities are decided by the entrance score. Cotton university graduates get 50% of the seats. of which 2% is for OBC. 2% is for SC and another 1% is for ST. Similarly, 50% of the seats for the students of other universities are decided through entrance exams. From there, 2% is reserved for OBC, 2% for SC, and 1% for ST....Read More
