Entrance Preview

Got ECE course at vel tech high tech engg college. College was started at 1999 in which ece and eee was a main courses during that time. So I though that they will provide a good education with all lab equipments.

Course Curriculum Overview

Elective subjects were the choice of the students. They use to take vote to choice the electives. More staff was there to take those electives subject with good experience.

Internships Opportunities

They provides more companies but we got a offer from railway and we did there. My friends went to delhi and enjoyed there internship programs. They arranged all the things we required for this program.

Placement Experience

Not too excellent. But it was a very difficult period in IT. Even though they provided good companies. They also extended our campus duration for next one year.

Fees and Financial Aid

All the govt scholarship provides to students. And they to sponder fee for topper and pay their whole academic fees.

Campus Life

Little bit weak in sports. But good in lab and other all things. But well developed training areas and good conditioned grounds to practice. We do enjoy our festivals in our college.

Exam Structure

So many exam to be cleared but thats not semester. These exams make us more confident to face the semeater exam.

Faculty

Almost all the faculties were spending more time with us and they were very friendly with us. But college bus facilities were very poor, now they improve it seems.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

I took the entrance exam for the eligibility criteria and I got selected based on my entrance exam. The college faculty approached us for admission. There is no reservation based on the cast .
