What Students Say

Likes

Great opportunities, they conduct foreign exchange programmes for students
College infrastructure is good, proper classes with all equipments
Professors are well qualified and conduct extraordinary research

Dislikes

There is a pressure on students but on the other hand it's a good thing too because students are forced to do beyond their limits and they do it also
Not much extra-curricular activities are conducted
Campus life is not too fancy and it's far from the main city

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum standa out for its relevance and comprehensiveness. It effectively covers essential topics while staying aligned with current industry standards and practices, ensuring students gain knowledge.

Class Size: 2Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are many internship programs conducted. Many companies come together and students can apply in their semester break, they provide good opportunities for students to learn. Internships can be paid or not

Placement Experience

50% placement maybe there but for Agri buisness management placement is 100% but for other courses like Bsc, msc and phd there are no such placement. Some banks placements are there like axis , HDFC etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is quite reasonable also you can get teaching assistantship scholarship for teaching students, many scholarships like FMC is also there and many foreign exchange programs are also conducted.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is not a city life it's a rural area but can get everything inside the campus there is one mall near to the campus where you can go for movies and chill, hostel facilities are average, classroom facilites are good

Hostel Facilities

We may 20000 for 6 months as food bill and our room rent is about 200 rupees. Hostel is mandatory for every student except who live very near to the campus. Environment is very greenery here as it's a agriculture college

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

In admission process, we need to give entrance test and based on the ranks we are allocated subjects also depending on our preference. Difficulty level is moderate. Reservation benefits are there for uttarakhand students

Faculty

Faculties are well qualified and their research is extra ordinary. Gb pant got its name in world QR ranking because of the research done by faculties and students. Faculties are very helpful, they guide students.

Interview Experience

Yes we have to give entrance test for admission where students from uttarakhand only can apply. Very few seats are there for other state students. ICAR also take entrance so if you are from other state you can give that exam

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Holistic Review of MBA at IIM Kashipur

Likes

It's a student run campus which means that important decisions regarding students are taken by the student bodies.
The campus is beautiful and lush. The architecture of buildings are well though of made to keep buildings cool during summers and hot during winters.
The campus is very happening. Several cultural events occur.

Dislikes

As the town Kashipur is not very developed, there is not much of metro-city life or such amenities
The boys to girls ratio for core program is 4:1 and the opposite for the analytics program which makes the class interactions disproportionate, It should be uniform.
You can't order food from online platforms here as the city is remote so one has to resort to the options present on campus which turns out to be pretty limited in number and quality.

Placement Experience:

As soon as the second year starts, companies start coming for placements. These include ICICI bank, Wellsfargo, Genpact, Amazon, TresVista, Havells, TVS, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package goes around to be 40-50 Lacs while average is around 14-15 Lacs. Almost all get placed while the rest opt-out from the process either for off-campus offers or pursuing higher education.
