Course Curriculum Overview

4

I opted for this course as I wanted to pursue biotechnology, and since there was no separate bachelor's course for biotechnology, I chose BSc life sciences. It will provide me with the option to choose biotechnology further in future during masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

They provide a lot of scholarships for girl children, OBCs, SC/STs, and a lot more scholarships are there. In terms of fees, it's affordable. A lot of colleges have double the amount of fees as compared to this one. There is the Aicte Pragati Scholarship for girl students, the Aicte Saksham Scholarship for specially-abled students, Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme for RPF/RPSF.

Campus Life

4

There are cultural program, and ethnic day that are held in college every year. There is a fest, Ethnic Day is held just before Diwali. The library is great, it has almost all the books that we might need during our course. There's even a new library being built right now. A bigger one. Clubs are quite interactive, a lot of clubs have regular activities, daily practices, competitions, etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There's no hostel for boys right now as it's being built again. The girl's hostel is fine. The old hostel building are not as good as compared to new hostel building. Gradually they are shifting students to the new building. Mess food is not good always, it's below average more often than we would like it to be

Admission

Eligibility for the course is atleast 50% marks in boards exams. Once you fill the form (which is around 1050), 3 councelling sessions are held, where you'll get to know if you got in or not. First preferred students are obviously 95%+ but gradually they go down. But if there still seats left after all 3 counselling, a spot counselling is held, where you have a higher chance in getting in, the eligibility is still the same.

Faculty

3.5

Sone of the faculty are nice, friendly and never denies us from teaching outside of the class. But there are some teachers (especially minor subjects' faculty) that do not arrive on time or just cancels the class. It affects students a lot. These minor subjects' teachers never complete their syllabus. Major subjects' faculty is great, if they have to take extra classes to get the syllabus complete, they'll do it. They try not to cancel class unless it's ab emergency. There are separate classes for mentorship too, which is a great thing. It helps us students in a lot of ways, we can put our problems with our teachers then and there. If there are some problems, they help us as much as they can. Most of the teachers are PhD holders, so I'd say they have the knowledge about what they are teaching and some even try to be creative with their teaching, comparing things with everyday life to make the subject more interesting.

Placement Experience:

The thing is, i feel exceptionally confident about my career because of our good connections with the institutions. Our graduates manage to get excellent jobs as economic analysts, corporate strategists, and financial consultants. We have the career department, which is assisting me with connecting to various corporate and research companies around the world. They run thorough interview preparation workshops. It ensures my readiness for the job market after graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoyed physics and maths as a school student so chose BSc course including the studies of all three- Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The modern physics part and the practical aspect of mathematics intrigued me. Though the curriculum of maths wasn't that comprehensive and was majorly all theory based. Maths syllabus can be enhanced by practical applications of examples rather than just be all about the theorems. The teaching method was good. The frequency of maths exam was 3 per semester, with three full books syllabus to be covered for each exam with mostly theory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i talk about my couse then i study in bsc (medical) which is a good course, we studies botany, zoology, chemistry, physics also we are nep student so we study more subject. By studying bsc we came to know my real life experiment like knowing about species, real life incidents etc. I suggest my teaching staff that they have to focus more in practical classes not on theory classes because students are more interested in them.
