- Campus is situated in a valley between mountains , so it has a very positive environment
- Faculties are the best , they are supportive as most of the faculty member are below 35 so they are supportive
- A education hub for uttrakhand people , for students who are serious towards the studies , university is very good for those you just come to the university for fun for them no univ is good
Dislikes
- Its very far from Haldwani,nainital although there is a campus in Haldwani but that is not that good
- Bus service is a questionable thing ,but it's okay can manage
- Placements can be better , more startups are there , Placement cell should focus on MNCs
Course Curriculum Overview
As I was MBA student , so the course curriculum was similar to other Universities , there wasn't much difference in that. Just the university added MOOC SUBMISSION which was a plus point atleast got to learn some other things Apart from this university do have one subject that is career skills which is a + points,helps in preparing for aptitude round
Internships Opportunities
Internships are a point which needs attention as most of the internships for MBA were from startups like mars exploration ,hike education For btech there are good internship opportunities companies like Accenture , Deloitte etc are there
Placement Experience
From the 2nd last sem of the course students are eligible for campus placements, most of the startups come. Like hike education , Learning routes , Jaro education also some of the MNCs like ITC , Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini certain banks also come for hiring like Axis,Bandhan Bank. 9 LPA is the highest package for MBA and average is 5LPA 80% students were placed in my batch I am planning to pursue my Doctorate ahead in year 2025
Fees and Financial Aid
For MBA per sem is is around 120000 in which if you have domicile of uttrakhand you can get 25% dis There are certain scholarships like if youa re a girl you can get additional 10 % off , if your father is from defence you get 5% dis , if your brother or sister is studying in the university you get 5% discount on the fee Also if you scored more then 70% in your graduation you get the discount accordingly Student can pay there fee semester wise and annually ,for sem payment they can get 5% discount on annual payment can get 10% discount Yes if any student wants to join the university as a counselor they get a chance and also if a student get his UGC NET cleared ,on the basis of his /her academic record they can get. Campus Life
No such fests were conducted as when I was a student , usually there are freshers and farewell parties for individual course , Seminars are conducted , grafest is conducted once a year Library is a + point , most of the books are available Facilities are good , everything is available in the campus what a student needs Sports activities are not conducted that often .. one in a 2-3 months Yes there are a few social groups that are run by the students of the university in which they clean the nearby area of campus and lakes of bhimtal , donation of clothes and necessity items to people' leaving near the campus
Admission
You can simply enroll through the Information centre that is present in Haldwani near Vishal mega Mart and in bhimtal campus took Graduation is need for the admission ,no entrance as of now Details can be find in the official website of GEHU BHIMTAL EXAMS ARE CONDUCTED IN JULY AND DEC AND ARE EASY TO CLEAR IF ONE STUDY WELL NOTHING AS OF NOW FOR IMPROVEMENT
Faculty
Faculties are very good in the university ,they all are either PhD holder or they are pursuing there doctorate Most of the faculty members are below 35 so they act as a mentor and are supportive in every term Overall one the best thing about GEHU Bhimtal is the faculties Learnt a lot of things from here
