- PES University has a large alumni based and they are one of the first private universities who introduced BBA.
- BBA program here at PES is more of a practical thing than theory and therefore we have as many practical sessions as the number of theory classes.
Dislikes
- Canteen food quality is quite poor even though it is always flooded but still good quality keeps deteriorating.
Course Curriculum Overview
BBA was my first and last choice as coming from a business family, my parents were clear that I have to learn business attributes. BBA at PESU has taught us enough and with industrial tours and foreign visits our course has given us good enough exposure too.
Placement Experience
Placements for BBA at PESU are incredible as top companies like Genpact, Bank of America Meryl Inc, Goldman Sachs, and others have always hired students from our university. Some of our students have even been placed at Goldman Sachs, US office. On and average half the class gets campus placements with an average starting salary of 4-5 lakhs a year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is average if not less as 2.5 lakhs a year at a university of this stature is common. PESU is at par with Symbiosis, Jain University or Christ University both in terms of fees and exposure. Including the mandatory foreign visit, the entire cost of my education will be around 10 lakhs.
Campus Life
Our intercollegiate fest Maya is a treat to the eyes as we invite applicants from all the universities and colleges of Bangalore. From sports to quizzes, almost every single competition takes place during Maya. Our annual fest is Aatmatrisha which happens every year and lasts for 3 nights.
Admission
PES University has their own entrance and combining entrance score and the HSC results merit lists are out. As many as four lists were out and students who couldn't make it that way can apply through management quota as well. Admissions can be availed online as well as offline.
Faculty
Faculties have done a fantastic job as all of them have practical experience of working in the corporate so they teach us on how to apply the things we are studying practically. All our faculties are passed out from best management schools and have gained enough teaching experience before joining PES University.
