What Students Say

Likes

Infrastructure of this college is quite good specially computer department labs etc
Library is the main thing that liked the most about the college

Dislikes

Some things I've disliked about my college is the faculty member they didn't have the basic knowledge also ,also has attitude and ego issues
Canteen is very small and doesn't have variety of food

Course Curriculum Overview

The course that I've opted is computer engineering,In my college computer department is quite good than the other branches.College won't provide you the practical knowledge about the course they only teach the theory part

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 143000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College have T& P ( training and placement) cell which is helps in placement as well as internship, they provide you the in-house internship opportunities as well as outdoor opportunity also ,you will get every update using email

Placement Experience

College provide placement opportunities to students using CRP( Campus Recruitment Program) from very first day from final year. The average package is about 3.5 Lpa ,If you have adequate knowledge of coding and dsa you will get upto 7-9 Lpa, you can also go for off campus too

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees is about 143000/- and college gives you to pay either total fees or give scholarship assistance about 50 percent fees .If you pay full amount you we'll get 50% fees back as a scholarship amount after filling your form

Campus Life

College provide you ok infrastructure. talking about college life, it is quite interesting and enjoyable if you are extroverted. After taking admission, you will get freshers party from your seniors and later, after 2-3 months, you will be encountering college fest, i.e pratishtha

Admission

I can get the college by MHTCET or through JEE also . I've got it by CET exam as my score was 89.44 percentile. Exam cut off varies from year to year ,for computer engineering it is 93 percentile you can predict for other branches too using it

Faculty

As I said earlier about faculty, they are qualified but don't have the teaching skills ,they only teach you in rattafication type of learning, and if you ask you anything about syllabus they don't clear your doubts. If you want to pass the exam you've to learn by yourself from YouTube and other sources

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember
