- Panjab university situated in chandigarh has a very large campus .you will be provided with interaction with different cultures .Also teachers here are also very supportive towards their students .
- Interaction with people of different cultures . Moreover it has a very large campus , so the classes are also spacious as it holds the maximum capacity to hold students .
- Its canteen has the best food with affordable prices .also hostel's mess food is excellent
Dislikes
- Hostels are very old , it needs renovation as soon as possible
- Infrastructure of university has to be improved and renovated
- Admin block has to be improved their services are bit slow
Course Curriculum Overview
The selection of courses is vast in pu . One can select any course he/she is interested in as it provides a vast option of courses.. As per my opinion , we are taught with keeping with the real world.. practicals are held time to time .

Companies like deloite, samsungn kpmg,net gain technologies , amazon and many more has visited in the university and the placement rate is around 92% . 8 week programe research intership and other programs are held in our university
Placement Experience
From semester 5 students are eligible for campus placements . Also some companies have visited university for campus placement and have selected a number of students The highest placement of a student has gone to 1000000
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is a government based university ,the fee structure is very minimal .. after the basic fee one have pay only for examination fee. I have spent 28000 per year as tution fee and on that i have to pay 2300 for examination fee.
Campus Life
Annual fests are conducted on the campus itself they are conducted around april and may .and it is held at a big scale . Famous singers and personalites are invited to perform in the university . Also beside that ,teds talks , educational fests are also held.. A smart screen is installed in every class for better understanding for the students.
Hostel Facilities
In girls hostel, there is basic room . It only provides a fan , a bed , and a almirah which in most cases is faulty . The condition of the rooms is very bad and it is requires renovation .overall i pay 6000 a month for my hostel room .. mess is 950 which is included in 6000
Admission
Overall the eligibility criteria is 50% for undergraduate as well as post graduate courses. You can find applications form from the university's website only 'puchd' . Semester wise exams are held and before that one have to give mid semester tests
Faculty
Faculty here is excellent .Teachers are really supportive and guide their students very well. Teachers opts for creative teachings , and they are always ready to help their students Moreover, as per my understanding . Teachers and faculty here is very responsive and active
