All about DTU: Fees, Placements, Academics, Culture

Course ciriculum has been redesigned, they have introduced the concept of Minor Degree from all of the Departments, which is really great for student to gain more of the academic knowledge in their chosen field. Some improvements are required in some the labs including more availabilty of the equipments, due to the batch size, The curiculum is bit old, new advancements in technologies should be included. Exams are moderately difficult, they have two exams mid sem and end sem.

Salesforce, Microsoft, Atlassian, American Express, SAP Labs, Google and many more, No. of internships opportunities opportunities are less as compared to full time placement stats. Several role are offered during the internship including Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engieering, Data Analytics, Consulting, Maximum stipend was from Sprinklr which was about 2 lacs per month.

Placements have been good till 2022, because of the market condition there has been decrease in the number of placements at campus. Companies like Google, Atlassian, Zomato, Oyo, Sprinklr have been visiting the campus regularly, every year. HIghest Placement have been 55-60 lacs in India by Zomato and atlaasian. For year 2024, 60 - 65% of the students have been placed.

There has been increase in 10-12 percent fees after every academic year. Complete cost of my gradautaion 8.5 lacs in tution fees without hostel, Scholarships are availabe by State Govt for all of the students and some other are for toppers. I have not undertaken any job role from the campus.

Campus life is good, campus area is one of the factor, Events and Festival are a regular part here, u will get to see an event in evey 2-3 months. Sports have also been great, In 2024 a student of DTU will be representing INDIA in Olympics in Badminton. Many of the social groups are there including literature, films, coding, consulting, envirnmentalists, NSS, NCC, and many more.

Admission is totally based on JEE Mains, CRL Rank. Admission procees was through the JAC counselling which includes 4 colleges, DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW, IIITD and now DSEU has also been included. Application form cost around INR 1500. Reservations are availabe for all categroies,

Faculty to student ratio is 1:60, along with professors there is always an support of Phd. scholars in academics who are working under the respective professer. All the faculty members are highly qualified, some of them are even Gold medalists, top performers in their academics, and some have Ph.d from IIT's. Approachabilitys has been never an issuee, I have experience all professors to be very approachable, listen our concerns, and give their best to reslove the issues.
