Likes
- Lots of events going in campus to enjoy and participate.
- Campus environment is good and enjoyable.Students are also present to make the campus not look like empty.
- Jamming to enjoy near fountain. Festive functions are organised properly.
Dislikes
- It shifted bca batch after 2 year to kharar campus which is only for bca that's bad because we have taken admission for main campus.
- Not good management they make you run here there department for long.
- They stops taking medical leave and keep rejecting at last days of semester for students to get detained and they will make money from.
Course Curriculum Overview
They have quiet updated syllabus and teaching but the classes organised by them in some semester are good of to many breaks.Students have to be wasting there time if they come from as they have to return again for classes.Bca hostellers suufer the most as they have to board the bus to go bca kharar for classes provided by cu only.
Internships Opportunities
Their were many companies coming and going some of them were Accenture and TCS.Some were of non coding field related they were sales company so not good for bca students.The campus organises joint placement for cgc landra and some other colleges which is also not good.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible after 4 semester.Some of the companies are Accenture, TCS. Students who are having minimum 7cgpa and no active backlogs are eligible for placement.I will pursue master after completing my bca from here.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee is increasing 15000 every year for bca which I know.There are many scholarships for students to avail.There is even scholarship exam also.I didn't thave taken any jobs yet bcz I didn't want it now before masters.
Campus Life
There many annual and technical festivals like cultural event, farewell party, freshers party,cu fest and many more.there are many books in library to read and take them for few days.the classrooms of main campus are good but not of kharar campus for bca and MCA.sports events are held regularly.their some groups if u take admission then find out .
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are good and there maids who come daily to clean the toilet.The menu is ok but the quality of the food is not good some times the chapatis are the worst.hostel allocation has become a stress part now bcz of the less availability and many students. I lived for a year in hostel and then opted pg and flats to live.
Admission
You should be passed 12 and and hold minimum percentage to take admission. You can get the application form on there website and whatever queries you have u contact there support. They programs listed and there fees also.
Faculty
Some of the faculty's are pursuing there PhD and teaching us and some freshers and some are passout students of chandigarh University itself they are teaching here only after completing their degree.Some faculty are good they understand students problem they help also.
