Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum includes subjects and topics relevant in industrial standards and related to industrial technologies. Availability of elective courses will help in that align with your personal needs and interests. The inclusion of practical knowledge, labs, real world case studies, project, these will encompass with real life experiences.
Internships Opportunities
In the academic community many opportunities to dio internship from many companies. College provide moral support for doing internships. Companies like CSL ltd, CIPET INTERNATIONAL, Beml ltd .. etc so many companies are there to help with internship programs. Sime compnies offer stipend for doing internships. In the final year a student group consists of 4 members should complete a project related to their department. Once a project is completed he oe she can earn the ability to apply the learned knowledge to practical application.
Placement Experience
From the sixth semester students are eligible for attending campus placements. The main aspect is that students supply history. One should not have a supply background for attending placements in core companies like Alstom, l&t, mrf, tcs. some companies should not have a problem with supply history. Maximum package came 6-7 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
In my institution, it works under ktu university and it is an aided college. This college consists of a fee structure of around 8000/- per semester. That is to be paid using a digital portal directly to the university. Other than this a student has to pay PTA fund and caution deposit of around 15000/- after completion of the course the caution deposit some amount is refunded. Many types of scholarships are available like egrantz etc
Campus Life
In the campus there are two main cultural events namely dyuksha and noopuram. Dyuksha is atech fest and noopuram is a cultural event. Other than every festival is celebrated in the campus. Fufilled library with all texts, journals, books, references are available in the campus. The central library is facilitated with internet connectivity and e-books access. Each department has department library. We have a well maintained ground and cricket pitch. University conducts interzine and zone sports events. Many students groups like NSS, IEEE, Atrista, students union etc are here to enhance more events and cultural activities.
Admission
To join this college an individual is directed to attend KEAM entrance exam. One should good score in this entrance exam. With that score your pcm marks have been added to improve your rank in the final result. With that rank one can apply on college with required courses. Wait for the allotment if you got its okey. Otherwise you can go for spot admission that is a chance..
