GRD - Coimbatore -An insight

The curriculum is pretty consice and clear, it covers all the necessary topics required for the course and some of the extra curricular activities include the syllabus so it enhances the learning experiences, The exams happen every 80-90 days but in those 90 days there are few mini tests which happen along the way

The internship is offered at the 4th sem and students are free to chose which firm they want to do an internship in, since the students have the option to decide the company the list of companies is vast and there are 100s of roles which students take upon, the internships are done outside the campus

After the 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements and can apply as placement drives happen in the college during that time, the college hosts major companies such as Deloitte, Google, Amazon, IBM, Goldman Sachs, HP and many other MNCs usually there are 10-15 students selected from each class of 60, the average package is 5 LPA, I am willing to apply for placements to land a job after college during the campus placements

There's set fees for each course it starts at around 45000 per semester to even 200000-300000 depending on the course you choose, I'm not aware of the financial aid but scholarships are available to students, campus placements happens at the end of each year where the final year students apply and hope to land an offer

There are countless fests and activities hosted by the college and by the students themselves, the events are quite enjoyable and entertaining, we host functions almost every month, the library is big with around 1500+ books and journals with ample seating, the students which host events are among the most talented and smartest ones we learn a lot about management and conflicts and team building while organising events.

The admission process was quite simple, you require to fill out an online form and get that print out to the college during the admission date, and they call you to a room and give you course options available and you select them and that's it, the eligibility is 12th qualified, the application forms and other details are available on the college website. The exams are quite targeted towards important topics and are easy if you are aware of the topic, they can improve the admission process if they employ more individuals to streamline the process

The effectiveness of the faculty is really good, they cover academics and valuable pieces of advice throughout the whole year it really trains the students to face the outside world and the faculty is also understanding of the students
