Can be made better

My interest in commerce made me opt of bcom hons in this university . The overall curriculum was according to commerce only . The curriculum did prepare me for further academic pursuits beacuse after my graduation i am now pursuing masters in commerce and the syllabus in is accordance with what i studies in bcom . This has made it easier for me to persue my masters . The areas that probably need improvement is that maybe the university can help students by providing them internships and guidance under certified charted accountants that can help them grow there analytical skills and knowledge and work experience for future . The frequency and timings of exams have always been perfect . It never created a problem for students as such , but even if there was a problem for eg date clash between other exams , we could easily communicate the same to the faculty and they would make changes accordingly. Faculty was pretty supportive in this manner and understood the students needs and problems

Well internship opportunities are available at the final semester but i feel that it should me made available to the students in the second year itself . Also internships are offered in the nature of placements after the college is completed but they should be made available in second year and should be part time in nature .

Students get eligible for campus placements in there final semester only . A lot of companies did visit like shipra travels etc and did made offers . The highest package was given my amazon which was near 12 lpa . Average package offered was 3 to 4 LPA . I feel that not many students applied for placements first thing first and secondly the companies did offer job opportunities to a lot of students but not many joined because of furter education and job timings . Well i got my degree last year and i am currently pursuing my masters in commerce

The fee of university is not that much as conpared to private institutions. During my tenure it was 35000 for admission and first semester and then 20k per semester for next 5 semesters . There were no hikes in the fee structure. Also there were no other charges other than the semester fees . Also you get a refund of 5000 of your security fees at the end of your term. Only charges that were there were for late payment of semester fee which is there in every college . About scholarship and financial aid i dont have much idea . Campus recruitment does take place . I also got recruited in two companies but due to job timings i could not join and also the package was not sufficient to survive in thode cities for long .

My experience with campus life was not that happening. I think it is something all the students of my batch would agree too because the first year was the pandemic year so classes were held in online mode only . Next year also no annual fests took pace because there was no student council formed again due to post covid timings . But one holi fest did happen in the final year and it was fine not that great not that bad . All range of books are available in the library and all are easily accessible too under library cards of students . Clasroom are well furnished with proper projectors . Sports and extracurricular activities however of the university was great . There were sports competitions held at regular intervals. Various language departments also used to conduct there respective food fest and cultural day meets etc . There are a number of social groups and clubs for there respective fields and areas like dance , sports , singing , art committees. Students interested can join

Well the university conducts enterance exam but during my addmision there was this pandamic year so addmissions were done on merit basis. All details regarding admission is there on the university website .There are reservation benefits provided for different sections of society like sc st obc etc. Frequence timing of exams was never a problem . I dont find any such areas that need improvement in admission process

The faculty to student ratio was balanced . There was no overcrowding of students . The teaching and mentorship style of faculty was also great . Classes were held on regular basis . There was no absentism on account of professors . Learning sessions were also great . Interactions with teachers was great as they were all easily approachable . They used to make groups of students and conduct presentations that made the sessions interactive
