I can also get other NIT with other branches like civil and metallurgy. But I was interested in Electrical engineering. So I have opted in this Collage

Yes the Training and placements cell in NIT JAMSHEDPUR provide the internship. Companies come and take the student for Internship. Some internship is paid and some are unpaid.

The best thing in our college is Placement. The placement of our college is very good. Many companies come to our college for placement. And provide the very good package to all students. Majority of all students are placed. With a good package. Job opportunities are good in NIT JAMSHEDPUR.

In our college, there are 3 major events celebrated. And some events are branch Event. The first event is URJA the sports events all of the student participate in the URJA there are many games played like football, cricket, badminton, tennis, basketball, table tennis, chess, Athletics and many more event are there. And the second one is CULFEST the cultural fest in out college in the cultural fest many cultural events are organized like singing, dancing and many more students from other college come to participate in this fest. And there are many celebrities who come to our college at CULFEST. And the third fest is OJASS It is our technical fest and it is the very amazing fest all the events that are conducted is based on Technical knowledge. Like Robotics and many more. And here also many celebrities come at the OJASS night.

The fess is a Little bit expensive but the fess is less than the private college. You can check the fees structure on the official website. The fees are around One lakhs for one semester. There is a fee waiver scheme who family annual income is less than 6 lakh.

In gov college, there is a good scholarship that is offered there are many scholars ship that is provided for the student who is financially weak. And there are many banks that provide loans to students are loan interest and loan are accessible easily.

The campus life is amazing for students all the students enjoy their college life. There are very good and helpful senior they help students in many ways like in academics and many other ways. There are many technicals clubs where interested students can get into it. And many sports club where students can get into it and enjoy its college life.

The hostel facilities are good. In the first year, the accommodation is two student in one room. And from the Second year, they provide single room to all of the students. The room is very good. The mess food is good you can able to eat mess food. Some time by mistake the food get spoiled but that doesn't matter the overall food standards are good.

Yes, the alumni and senior are very helpful they give help in placement session and in academics. They even play with us and all of us enjoy. In Dj nights All junior-senior dance together.

The exam Structure in our college is Mid Sem and End sem of 30 and 50 marks. And rest 20 marks are for project and assignment. The exam is conducted by the teacher who had taught who. And the paper itself is checked by the teacher who had taught you. In mid-Sem, the exams are taken one after another and in End sem exam is taken and study is also there for the student.

First of all, you all have to give JEE MAINS.T he national level examination and you have to score well in this Exam. There is cutoff decided every year to clear the exam. Just scoring above the cutoff is not enough to get into the college you might not get college if you just cross the cutoff marks. So you have to score very good marks. And very important you have to score 75%in class 12. So You are eligible for taking admission in the NIT/IIT.

In my college, the faculty is not too good as in a Private college. But ad-hoc Faculty are very good. They take classes regularly and teaches very well. And they are very Helpful. They help us in many ways if we have good relationships with the faculty. Some of the old faculty are also very good. They have very good knowledge and they also help students who are hardworking and Dedicated.
