Remarks

The overall management is good but a bit strict compared to other colleges but if you use the opportunities given by the college you can gain more knowledge.

Entrance Preview

Because it has very good opportunities for computer science majors as the campus itself has many IT companies and the KG institute itself has IT companies and it also gives us more placements in good companies. We can also have good exposure and we can get more training for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It is very good. It is under Anna University and so the courses are based on the Anna University curriculum. All the courses and exams are based on Anna University. It gives basic subjects like maths, physics, chemistry, and some core related subjects and from the second year, most core subjects are introduced.

Internships Opportunities

Of course, the college provides internship for the students who are interested. The stipend is based on the work you do and time you spend. Overall it was a good experience.

Placement Experience

3

Placements and job opportunities are good and the college also provides all the information of the companies of off-campus and suggest the students attend them too. Placements are very good for computer science and IT compared to other departments.

College Events

2.5

Fresher's day, sports day, teacher's day, farewell is celebrated in our college as our college only focus on education and placements. We don't have much celebration conducted at our college. Sometimes we also have Pongal celebration. And sometimes we also conduct intra college symposium.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure differs for government quota management quota and both are feasible compared to other colleges. The fee structure for government quota is as per Anna University orders. And extra fee may be charged for transportation as our college has bus transportation facilities and we have to pay exam fee per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available for students who are from minor religions like Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, etc.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is a bit strict but a good feeling that you got into a good college. Gender ratio as mostly equal but the no. of boys are a bit more compared to no. of girls. We have many extra curricular but are allowed only if we can prove ourselves. We will have many opportunities only if we take the first step.

Hostel Facilities

3

I'm not a hosteler. But as far as what my hostel friends said Hostel facilities are good but the food is not up to the mark. The rules of the hostel are a bit strict for girls compared to boys as like of all other colleges. Students of 6 stay in a room.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors will be very helpful for all the works and every senior will conduct a different type of seminars, training, and competition for the junior students. They also conduct fresher's day for all the 1st yr to get more interaction with them.

Exam Structure

As I already said our college is under Anna University so all the exam structure and patterns are based on Anna University. The exam structure in moderate and the problem is even anyone if affected by natural disasters during exam time all the colleges under Anna University will have a postpone of their exams.

Admission

I had got in from management quota by going to the college in person and selecting my major. If others have a better mark they can choose councilling which is conducted by Anna University Chennai. By there they can choose their college and major and get into the college.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are very good, interactive and very friendly. Though all the faculty doesn't have that much experience they all have good knowledge of the subjects and all of them teach with real-life examples which will be easy for the students to understand.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
