Remarks

I would like to suggest some points to our management. Please do concentrate more on the Life Skills Development of the students and make them aware of the industry where they are going to work. Please take some steps in the Hostel Food. I would like to thank my college for the reason behind who I am now.

Entrance Preview

I had the vision to explore a lot of new things. Fortunately, I have chosen my college in the Counselling. Our family friend was suggested some colleges before, REC was my Top most priority because my schoolmate was joined there. The main reason why I opted this college was infrastructure and astonishing atmosphere.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Honestly speaking, the course curriculum was mostly based on the course you are choosing. In our college, they are providing the lot of additional training which will be helpful for the students to survive in the Industry. They are also providing soft skills training for the students.

Internships Opportunities

I am not well aware of that but some of my friends did internships in reputed companies through our college.

Placement Experience

5

Our Placement Department is doing a remarkable job. The main motive of our placement department is to make all the students place in the reputed companies. They are tirelessly working for the betterment of the students. More than 40 companies are coming for the campus interviews. It is getting increased yearly.

College Events

5

Although our college is giving more importance to the Academics, they will be organizing the Inter College Cultural and Sports Day. They do encourage the students in extracurricular activities too. We are having Departments Technical Symposiums, Club Activities. We are also having Ethical and Literary Clubs. Every year we use to celebrate the Women's Day Celebration in a Grand Manner.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In the social standpoint, the fee structure is not feasible nor expensive, it is moderate. I would suggest reducing the bus and hostel fares. Apart from that, the fee structure is feasible. If they reduce the unwanted things in the fees structure, it will be helpful for the bright students from a poor background.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, they are providing scholarships based on the Government norms. They will be helpful to get bank loans.

Campus Life

5

As I said earlier, our college was concentrating more on soft skills development. They surely believe, it will be helpful for the betterment of the student once they leave college and facing society. We are a lot of social clubs like Rotaract, NSS, E-Cell, Leo, and Enactus. We are also having language clubs like debating union, Yazh mandram etc. We are also having a famous musical band and dance crew.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

As a hostelite, I enjoyed the hostel life because of my friends. We are having 4 hostels. One hostel was an old one, other than that all the 3 are well facilitated. In the old hostel, we have to use the common toilets. Some of the wardens will be supportive. Food taste will vary according to the mood of the person who is cooking that. I would highly recommend concentrating on the food. I want my juniors to have a tasty food.

Alumni/Alumna

Truly speaking, my seniors molded me to become a better person. Moreover, they shared and supported us their real-life experiences and still, they are helping us. More than a college, it is like a family to us.

Exam Structure

Since it was one of the Anna University Affiliated College, exams are generally based on the Anna University exam structure. We will be having a weekly test once in a month and 2 Model Exams. Monthly exams will be conducted in the month. Moreover, practicals exams will be there.

Admission

I got admission through AU Counselling. I have attended the counseling and they gave me 3 options, I picked REC. After that, we went to the college for the Admission process. We paid the fees and finished all the formalities. Although Chennai was my native, I opted to stay in the hostel.

Faculty

5

Our faculties are well supportive and knowledgeable. Most of the faculty members are doctorates. They are well educated and motivative. They are having proficient knowledge in their field of study. Personally, I got motivated by my faculties to chose my career.
