Course Curriculum Overview
As my course was computer science and engineering , as we know this course has pretty good scope in cities like bangalore that is IT capital of india so this thing influenced me for this course. Curriculum contains all the theoretical concepts that are necessary for the real world applications. The improvements in curriculum are that it should contains necessary part first then the less necessary part. The timings of exams are best that is 3 hours for main external exams and. 1.5 hours for college internals
Internships Opportunities
I did internship from the company Airobosoft. It is a tech company and placed in hebbal, bangalore. I did internship in data science. I got the role of data scientist in this company for my internship. My project was fake news detection system.
Placement Experience
Students get eligible for the placements from the 6th semester. Various companies visited for placements like TCS, infosys, BEL, jspiders, JLC, kodnest, gentech etc. Highest package offered by BEL was 12LPA and average package was 4LPA. Percentage of students got places was more than 70% My plans after degree is to get admitted in IT sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee increases depending on the type of course and demand for that particular course that the student is pursuing. The complete cost of my education was around 90k but it varies person to person. Various types of scholarships are available for the students like PMSSS, this is only for the students of jammu and kashmir and ladakh, students get 50k per semester, other is SSP state scholarship for karnataka students in which students get around 20-30k per semester. I was incharge of food society for events in our college. There are different roles for different students for different events.
Campus Life
Various events are there in this college like College day, ethnic day, sports day, farewells of branches seperately, convocation day And all these events helds in the june month. The library included all books from a-z for the branches CSE, ECE, Civil, Mechanical engineering. The classrooms contains smart classes and are oriented with benches for sitting, fans , projectors, UPS for backup of power supply, white and black boards. Different sports offered by this college are cricket, valleyball, kho-kho and indoor sports like chess , carrom board etc
Hostel Facilities
The room size is pretty good in college hostel. Rooms are fans oriented with spaces for the luggage. Meal quality is average. They provide south indian food items. Students have to register from the cyber hub through online mode for the hostels and also from the office room in the college.
Admission
As i got admitted via PMSSS The eligibility criteria for me was more than 60% in 12th Annual family income should less than 8LPA You will get the application form from the AICTE official website. The timings of exams are best that is 3 hours for the externals and 1.5 hours for internals. They should admit students on the basis of knowledge.
Faculty
Faciulty is very understanding towards students. The approach of faculty to teaching and mentorship is very good . Doubt clearance session is in every class The faculty-student interaction ratio is pretty good
Interview Experience
A group discussion was there for the kodnest interview And the topic of GD was education system in india. There were basic questions for interview just for checking basic knowledge of a student. As it was a campus drive so we just had to register through a google form. I prepared for these rounds from college and youtube also.
