Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is kinda old and not tht relevant to present times.Real wold applications are low but its informative.They can include more practical and useful things in the curriculum than the old unrelated stuff.Exam difficulty level is moderate and very frequent there are 2 internals and one end sem exam.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are mostly by student efforts. Microsoft ,google ,wipro and many other companies do provide internship opputunities and stipennds usually vary from 10k to 1L a month based on the student's proficiency. Many project developments are available and typically are software dev based.
Placement Experience
From 7th sem they are eligible. Apple, google , microsoft and many other mncs. Highest package is 54 lpa and lowst is 4 lpa and average is 12 lpa.60% students are placed. my plans after degree is gonna be doing masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year around 9.5-10% fee is increased.The total fee through cet is around 1.3L and through pessat is 4.9L.The college has merit based scholarships the top 5% students on basis of cgpa are rewarded 50% fee as a refund and the next 15% students are rewarded 40% fee as refund.
Campus Life
Annual fest is called atmatrisha held in march of every year. Vast variety of books are available but novels are less. Facilities are good and each class has its own 55 inch led tv.Sports are good. Clus are great.
Admission
Eligibility through cet is 1400 for cs 1900 for aiml 5k for ece and 12k for eee.Admission through cet and pessat is available. Applications are available through kea and pesu.org. Reservations have too much impact. Duration of 3 hrs and very difficult. Reservations should be reduced and priority on merit should be increased.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is decent 1:70 on average.Most of the teachers have a phd and many have done researchs in their particular fields so their practical experiences are good bu not all of them are good at teaching. Teaching can get better.
