I liked all the infrastructure and cleanlines of my university
I liked hostel facilities including food,clean rooms,and infrastructure also
I liked the behavior of faculty and administration towards students.

Dislikes

I dislike the application given for everything.
I dislike to always take permission to go outside for buy something.
I dislike with the tuck shop because of price of everything is high as compared to price of outside from the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing my B.Tech from C.S.E with data science specialization. There are four specializations present in B.tech IBM course that are AI/ML, DATA SCIENCE, CYBER SECURITY, IOT. The curriculum of the course is best and the timetable for whole week is also very good. The main motive of our college is to give more knowledge and smartness to each and every stduent.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As i have already mentioned that our college gives the opportunities of intership to all students from 6th semester. And They also give the projects to all students in 1 year also with the collaboration of companies. So that students can work on these projects and learn new things

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is 100 percent. They gave internship to student with live projects in 6th semester. After from starting of 7th semester all students go to "On job development " in the companies. So that they can learn about project and need of companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of structure of my college depends upon the course that is preferred by the student. Like In B.tech C.SE with specialization course, the fee of each semester is 82,500. They also give the scholarship to jee/neet students with 70 percentage. And also there are many scholarships available in it.

Campus Life

As i have already told about infrastructure and campus of my college i.e, best. All sports are playing in our campus and coaches are also available for each and every game like tennis,bollyball, football,boxing and many others

Hostel Facilities

The facilities of hostel is good. Food ,cleanliness, infrastructure, behavior of all hostel members, overall all is good. Hostel rent depends upon which type of room select by the student like a room for two student with fan, its fees is 80000 and if student select AC room its fees is 110000

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

The process of admission is in online mode. Firstly student have to register on the main website of the college with all documents attached in the form. Then student have to select the slot for exam and he/she should have to give exam in online mode with camera and audio on. After that they have to clear the interview and then at last college gave them specializations according to student knowledge

Faculty

I have already said that in previous step that behavior of Faculty members is very good. They interact with the students with full of energy and joyful. All the faculty members are well qualified and they have a lot of knowledge and they also want to give this knowledge to all students so their students can able to face every situation.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.

Likes

The most appreciated aspect was the quality of teaching in classroom. There were structured planning for studies and exam preparations.
The campus was peaceful and the college celebrated every cultural event very enthusiatically covering interest of students belonging from various traditional backgrounds across India.
There was wide spread interest both from students and faculty side for promoting extra cirricular activites and talent.

Dislikes

The way a student raises a complain can be improved.
To allot extra hours for extra acirricular activites.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great for tech and core domains. Alomost every students gets to sit in placement following the eligibilty critera. Many students get double placed and there is a placement policy which allows fare chances of placement to every student.

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Dislikes

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

I like my couse btech with computer science because it has high change to geeting high paying jobs and to build a successful career with my opinion they can improve their faculty with higher education qualification

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

All About LTSU

I preferred this university due to its course structure of 3+1 year which is 3 year of study and one year of internship. Also the strength of students in this university is not very much as its a new university and they don't spend much on their publicity the students who have come here is only from mouth to mouth publicity and few are through social media . Before I got to know about this university I also applied for other universities but when I got to know about this university then I cancelled my applications from other universities.
