Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum of my college is best and timetable is also very good according to me because their timetable follows a good routine. They conduct the exams very peacefully and the syllabus is too good and curriculum also includes the lab timing also

Internships Opportunities

As i have mentioned in previous page that they provide students internship from 6th semester starting onwards through live projects. After that they will go to on job development in companies for their better futurement.

Placement Experience

The placement ofour college is given to all students and placement is 100 percent. They give intership to all students from 6th semester and after that from 7th semster student should go to on job development course so that they can take new skills for better future.

Fees and Financial Aid

fee structure depends on the student which course they selects if they select the ibm cse btech course then their fee is 82500 per semester and they also provide a scholarship for neet/jee students and in others also

Campus Life

As i have already told in previous page that our college infrastructure is best and cleanlines of the hostel and campus is also best. They also provide all sports teacher for aqll type of games. The dinner party and dj party also organizes in our college

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is very good and they provide best food and facilities in all the fields. Hostel provides 24 by 7 all facilities available. The rent of the room depend upon student which type of room selects. if they select normal room then its rent is 80000. they also provide AC rooms

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

The admission process is in online mode. firstly student have to register in main website of our college and then he/she have to give exam with mic and camera on. after that thery have to interiew in online mode also. After that they will be given a specialization according to their knowldege.

Faculty

faculty members are very good in behaviour and they always motivate us to always grow in the sky. They always motivate us to take new skills daily. They always stand with students always and they try to give best knowledge to all the students

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.

Likes

The most appreciated aspect was the quality of teaching in classroom. There were structured planning for studies and exam preparations.
The campus was peaceful and the college celebrated every cultural event very enthusiatically covering interest of students belonging from various traditional backgrounds across India.
There was wide spread interest both from students and faculty side for promoting extra cirricular activites and talent.

Dislikes

The way a student raises a complain can be improved.
To allot extra hours for extra acirricular activites.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great for tech and core domains. Alomost every students gets to sit in placement following the eligibilty critera. Many students get double placed and there is a placement policy which allows fare chances of placement to every student.

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

All About LTSU

I preferred this university due to its course structure of 3+1 year which is 3 year of study and one year of internship. Also the strength of students in this university is not very much as its a new university and they don't spend much on their publicity the students who have come here is only from mouth to mouth publicity and few are through social media . Before I got to know about this university I also applied for other universities but when I got to know about this university then I cancelled my applications from other universities.
