Environment of college was peaceful and very friendly
Facalty members motivates student very much

Dislikes

Drainage system can be improved of college
Sports activities is less that can be increased
Generators are not on everytime when electricity is not available

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a four year undergraduate course . It is divided in 8 semesters which makes the course easy for students without any problem. They help us also for real world improving skills . Exams are held in a period of 6 months at the end of semester.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of our course is very affordable and for those who cannot afford can get free admission if they aur under below poverty line catogary. Fee is very affordable for every family and for others they can avail scholarship

Campus Life

Our campus is very much vast and have a very friendly environment. Social events, festivals are also organised in our college in a regular basis.we have our own library in college. Technological classroom are also available

Admission

We have to fill the form online in the official samarth website and we get admission in the basis of our 12th boards. Reservation is available in caste basis . We don't have any entrance exam , one can get admission in the merit basis of 12 results.

Faculty

Every facalty member holds a PhD degree and is very friendly and motivates students very much. For every 15 students their is a professor available. They focus on our skills and help us to improve them a lot.

I hate the drinking water facility because it's not there

I would rate in quite highly in terms of both relevant and competative the subjects are well aligned and current industry standards and current needs it includes both theoretical need and both practical need at the same time..

Likes

I like the infrastructure of our college.
Our college have enough rooms and halls to accommodate huge number of students
Digitalisation in teaching methods in all classrooms.

Dislikes

Toilet is still not clean as promised by our GS.
Lack of equipments in practical laboratories.
Cleanliness and hygiene are a bit off track.

I choose this course i.e. department of Botany because the department ensuring a strong theoretical foundations along with the practical experience. The course prepares well for students as the acedemic results is always good which will make gratutides well equipped for jobs. Some sections of the course should be updated to meet the latest technology, more guests lectures and the interships should be provided to the students. The exams clustering of multiple exams should be within times which relases unneccsary stress, the exams are conducted easy to insane which is very challenging for the students.

Likes

Our department (botany) has well experienced and knowledgeable professor's who guided us both practically and theruotically which help us to gain knowledge at a faster rate
The most important thing is that our department always go for practical experience i.e.through trip.
The department often conducts seminars and guest lecturers

Dislikes

As a student of Aryavidyadpeeth college, it is very difficult to be part of our college,as the department is very popular
Due to high popularity, the college campus is very crowded, which sometimes leads to overcrowding
There is a very limited seats in hostel, the outstation students faces many difficulties to stay nearby the college.

Friendly environment with a good teaching faculty.
Effective adminstration and management faculty.

Campus area too small along with improper sanitation facilities

Scholarly help and studying materials related to the course are provided by the college however the result are mostly based on self studying due to inefficient management by faculties. The college lacks proper workshops and programs to prepare the students for real world circumstances.

All the faculty are very learned and helpful. They make an effort and are very invested in our progress
The infrastructure is very modern with multiple laboratories and conference halls. Construction work is going on for increasing the campus area and buildings
Apart from departmental libraries, the college boasts a central library with a large collection of books, articles and journals

Dislikes

Need for a separate parking area for students
Canteen and cafeteria space should be increased
Seat capacity should be increased in the common room

The requirements for 1st semester students is to choose 7 subjects. Core subject, Minor subject, SEC (skill enhancement course), IDC (inter disciplinary course), AEC (ability enhancement course) and two compulsory VAC (value added courses) of EVS and AIS (ancient Indian studies)

The decision to choose this course was my seniors. My seniors are part of this college and I get to know many things about this college from them. The atmosphere attracted me towards this college. The exams are conducted on time.

Entrance Preview:

Firstly, we had to apply for respective departments which one wants to take an honours. Then ,cut off percent is taken out and students are given admission to that department as honours student.

I applied to various colleges but I confirmed Darrang College because this college is near to my home as compared to others . I didn't got rejection from other colleges. I didn't make it there because the course I wanted to study was not there . The admission process is merit based . Improvement in Sports activities needed

I applied for EFLU (Shillong Campus), Central University of Karnataka, Tezpur University, Gauhati University and Dibrugarh University and some of their affiliated colleges like Darrang College, DHSK College and many more. I did get pass through the merit lists of Karnataka, Darrang and DHSK.
