What Students Say

Likes

Ouat is a government college which provides you alot of benefits starting from education to sports.
I got graduated this year and it was a very nice experience
Ouat is expanding its field in several academy

Dislikes

The classes are a little small and there is no proper presentation system
They don't provide placement which is a demerit
Their exam timings are result are very late as compared to other govt colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed this course because i always wanted to go in a medical field. In our department the lab is literally very small so i would suggest our HOD to improve it. Our exams are always held in our assembly hall where the ac doesn't work during summer but it works during winter????

Class Size: 1400Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Talking about internship so basically OUAT don't provide any internship program or stipend rather it provide sponsored internship and give an opportunity to the students to complete their internship in other places with benefits. The seminars are held in the last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

So basically it doesn't provide any well placement and talking about scholarship very few students get those who have low annual income. There is no campus and no stipend but they provide some sponsored internship programs

Campus Life

3.5

The anuual function is held every year and there is a lot of curriculum activity where you can take part including games and sports. The annual sports day also occurs and the competition is usually between different departments in OUAT There is a student union group where the student head is decided according to your vote.

Admission

To get into this course at least you have to score 80% in your 12th. The application form you can simply get from SAMS website with all the required brochure mentioned there. There is reservation sits for sc, st, and obc But certain criteria are changed now so you must contact the office to know the details

Faculty

The teachers are very cooperative they helped us to go through our practicals and seminar. Despite of that all my department teachers completed their phd . But some of them are temporary so in upcoming years the teachers might get changed. Anyways it's a great experience

Bad condition of the washrooms ,not cleaned.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum includes the real projects which help learn more practically. It would had been better to have more site and industrial visits and export sessions to learn better. The exams are not so difficulty to score.

Everything happens for a reason

I had opted for the College of Agriculture Bhubaneswar, but due to my rank, I didn't get Bhubaneswar, and I got the College of Agriculture Chiplima. There was another college, the College of Agriculture Bhawani Atana. I didn't choose this because at the time of my admission to Bhawani Atana College, there was no ICAR accreditation, so I chose Chiplima College. I have only opted for OUAT, so I didn't get rejected from any colleges. The admission process in OUAT is first they conduct a entrance examination then, according to rank students select their branches.Their are several branches in OUAT like veterinary, fishery, agriculture, horticulture, forestry, b.tech agriculture, community science etc . Eligibility is in +2 PCM or PCB and career mark of 10th class and 12th class added in total mark. OUAT entrance total mark 200. 25Percent from 10th class and 25Percent from 12th class and 50Percent from entrance. To get a seat in OUAT, the student must have a good career mark; otherwise, it will be very difficult....Read More
