Remarks
Any loss such as hall ticket or the college id card may be subjected to a fine that is one bad remark in student point of view.other than that the strictness of the institute is quite bitter as a fresher entering an engineering institute but we got used to it as the time passed.
Entrance Preview
Very good placements and good ambience.Trained staffs and one of the very few colleges that have PhD professors in all the depts.A green and peaceful environment with top-notch food facilities. hostels provide security for students. Laboratory and practical equipment are maintained well.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum varies for the departments. The new regulation of anna university including the python in the very first semester makes the students prepared for the placements and improving the coding skills at a greater extent. our regulation is very basic.!
Internships Opportunities
Nope! Our college does not provide internships but they encourage the students to actively take up internships during vacations.
Placement Experience
Placements are good. It was excellent till last year but this year there is a decrease in the number students getting placed. Most of the companies are service-based companies with a lesser pay. Product company too recruits students at a lesser rate i.e the creamy layer.
College Events
Freshers day for new students followed by annual day every year. Graduation day for the passed out students and all other festivals are celebrated in the college in a very grand manner. Transport facilities for parents are also made for these occasions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible as it is paid annually.only the fees given through the structure of AICTE is being billed.No extra fees other than the examination fee is collected that is twice a year for the odd and even semester examination.bus and mess fee inclusive!
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes of course all the scholarship advised by the Anna University is available for the students in the institution.especially for underprivileged students.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is equal so is the gender ratio between the staffs.labs are well maintained and sports facilities can be increased. periodically throughout the year varies competitions are conducted for the students and they too take the competitions on a serious note.
Hostel Facilities
If there lies a ranking for food and hostel facilities of colleges I would say that our institution will definitely have a position in the top 5 of the list. separate mess for veg and non-veg and which is separate for boys and girls as well. hostel rooms are also good.
Alumni/Alumna
Most of the seniors give periodic advice based on their views on the institute to industry change which is very helpful.
Exam Structure
Same as anna university regulations. There are cycle tests every month and two internal examinations followed by revision examination then model examination and then the university examination commences. practical examination is conducted before the theory examinations
Admission
I got admission Through TNEA counselling. Usually 180-195 cutoff varies for the admission in various departments of the institution. The other neighbouring institutes such as RMDEC and RMKCET have quite lesser eligibility marks. Telugu minority institute so students from Andhra to have the probability to get admission.
Faculty
Faculties in the college are quiet good. In spite of some office assistants being rude to students. All the higher grade faculties are very friendly and clear the doubts then and there. every department has at least two PhD professors which are good for students.
