Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As a 2021 student, our curriculum has some updates. We do projects at the end of each course, which helps us apply theory to practice. This approach makes learning more fun and memorable. However, I think some courses like electronics and mechanics in our first year aren't very useful for our future jobs in computer science. I wish we had more computer science courses instead. Luckily, students from 2022 onwards have an updated curriculum with new and trendy courses that will help them in their future careers.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Aa I am a CSE-AI student we only get internship offers from this circle mostly from SDE,data analyst roles are given. Mostly the highest stipend given as of now is 40k per month. Companies like Zsacler, vivriti capital,CRTD,Morgan Stanley etc visits campus for both internships and full time rolea

Placement Experience

4.5

Now I am in 4 th year. Our class will start from July 3 Rd week. Aa we all now Indian IT economy is going through recession phase even though our seniors got 180+ job offers from different companies, Highest package given in 2023 was 56 LPA from Microsoft, in 2024 was around 25 -30 LPA. Our classes haven't started but till now we got 20 companies with full time offers and 10+ companies for internship. These all just happened in a month. From 2021 Average package is got on increasing from 6LPA to 10 LPA. Due to recession it decreased to 9LPA last year, but even those were good. 95% will be placed every year. Lowest packages are around 3-4 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart,Oracle, Goldman Sachs,JP Morgan, Bosch, Infosys,TCS, etc... vist every year

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission happens based on AEEE exam ramja,JEE ranks etc. based on the ranks there are scholarahips. To get scholarship until the last year of degree. We should maintain the CGPA accordingly. I have joined through Management quota my tution fee is 4LPA and hostel fee is 1.05 LPA. According to slabs 1 St slab fee for CSE and specifications is 1LPA 2nd slab is around 2.5 LPA and 3rd slab is around 3.5 LPA. But from last year i.e 2023 the fee structure is increased.now the management seat is 6LPA. I guess the slab fees are also increased 50k each. Hostel fee reamin same for all..To maintain the same slab 8 above CGPA is required other wise the slab will be increased and you should pay the corresponding slab amount fee from the next academic year. For suppose if you got admission in slab 1 the 1st year fee will be 1 LPA. Based on the 1 St years CGPA if you have 8 or above you will be remained in the same slab if it's below you will fall to slab 2. And you should pay the corresponding fee

Campus Life

Admission

There is no application fees for the merit joining students, but they should pay fee for Amrita Entrance Examination that will be around 2k. Based on JEE,SAT scores also seat will be given. There are no reservation benifits at the time while I was joining. All had a same cut off score in AEEE. I got ECE first according to my AEEE score. As I was not interested in that I have joined through Management quota for CSE-AI. Then for students who wish to join through Management, It is required to pay 12k first to confirm the management seat as they are very limited. Then the process is same and they will guide through us

Faculty

Teachers are very approachable in all kinds of aspects either in studies or in other aspects also. Almost all the teachers we got are doctorate holders and our curriculum is completely lab oriented, so teachers also follow the same way of teaching, we have access to so many tools which are costly outside, Teachers support us in all kinds of aspects and especially for CSE-AI we have a project culture aa end sem, with my teachers support I was able to publish 6 research paper in just a year. In a word They are more than teachers to us. They are so friendly in nature also.

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.
