My College review from a Students Perspective

As you might know the first year is same subjects for all course students but as you reach the second year you start learning the basics of the civil engineering and then during the third year you get to choose the electives. They provide all kind of electives in designing green building roadways Bridges and other things. The provide all various kind of electives if they meet required minimum amount of students.

The college provided internships for student in private firms government firms. The students Afreen to choose the own company for doing internship or they can take the help to get the internships from the college from with some of them received stipend ranging from 3000 to 8000. The students got to choose there own companies and field in which they wanted to work and do the internship. But we wasn't allowed to do internship in a company owned by a family member.

The 8th semester students gets eligible for the placements and the placement starts after the first internal exams and most of the companies visiting I like designing site engineers or plant quality engineer in which day higher user training and the average pay is 15000. On an average 12 to 15 companies come in the college for placements for each department and around 70% students gets placed and the remaining I helped by the teachers to get place in the companies which they know or a familiar with.

Our college in Goa has the minimum fees as compared to the other colleges around or in Goa. The fee structure for general students is around 40000 to 50000 in which you can apply for tfw or ews in which you have to payless. The college provides around 2 to 3 scholarship programs from the government. This fee involves the development phase gymnasium fees transportation fees. About the place main terror around average 10 to 12 companies coming for placements and 6270% of students getting placed. Rest the remaining students are helped by the teachers to get placement in the companies which they know.

There are various kind of events held in a college one of the biggest is called Happenings which in inter College event. It is held in December month. And the next standard which is a inter department event which is held in March in which they provide all kinds of activities indoor sports outdoors. Also they are technical events which help the student to grow in their own field. Terror also departments event in which they keep activities which are related to the department like for civil it is concrete cube building, truss making etc.

For the admission we submitted our documents in the college like birth certificate bonnified certificate from school and higher secondary and other documents. The payment for the admission was done online in the college through card. To get admission you have to apply for the GCET exam and you should be rank in 1500. The computer and IT gets first filled. The seats are based on your rank. The exam are held each year and few days after the result the admission starts.

The faculty is of experienced fixed professors who are well qualified and experienced. They even handle government works like inspection and other things and share all their knowledge with us. Most of the faculty is friendly and ready to help and solve our problems. In final year the professors also helps in getting placements for the students of the have been not placed or found a good job. They also helps a lot in project and are understanding.
