Course Curriculum Overview
First.. i am very interested in doing computer science Engineering. So i selected information communication technology. The campus management is very good at the preperation of timetable I think there is no need of saying about their thoughts, they are very good in everything Ofcourse this is a deemed to be university, nearly equal to NITs.. so the subject depth is obviously tough and we should get prepared to it
Internships Opportunities
I still don't know about the internship companies provided in this college I dont even know al lot about them because i am studying 2nd year only, i have to know more about them by asking our seniors
Placement Experience
3rd year the students are eligible for the campus placements Wipro, IBM etc are some companies came to offer jobs for students Adobe is the company which offered a student 42 lakhs as the annual package The student should maintain more than 7.5 CGPA without standing arriers at the last semester I would like to write GATE exam and do MTech in good colleges
Fees and Financial Aid
For first sem we are having 75k as tution fee, year wise they increate 5% to it. Total cost of this 4 years engineering is 6.5 lakhs There are no such specific scholarships for this college are avaliable
Campus Life
Kuruksastra is the biggest event helds in the sastra college And it held every year grand There is a wide range of book collections in the sastra college library The library is also very big and vast Yeah there is a wifi facility is carried out every where in the campus and also in hostels, but we have to register in the office The sports play grounds are very vast and the sports events also carried out every year
Hostel Facilities
They give almarahs with doors amd a bed. They provide not only tamilnadu food but also north food also The registration process of the hostel is available in the sastra main website There are PGs near the college or else we go to thanjavur nearby
Admission
Your 12th class percentage should be more than 80% And your mains percentile should be greater than 90 We can able to apply to the college in their main website itself, application dates also avaliable in the college website. There is no reservations in the selection of students while applying, they treat everyone equally I think every thing is percetly created in their website
Faculty
The faculty is very talented except some members like lab faculty, except them every lecturer says understandably. When we come to mentorship... They provide a mentor for every 20 to 30 members and we can reach them whenever we want and can say our problems The faculty of sastra are very interactive and responsible in their students.
