Likes

Mumbai university has good exam paper patterns and doesnot fo spoon feeding to the students.
Mumbai university is well known for it's syllabus and students from MU get a good preferences for job opportunities.

Dislikes

Mumbai university doesn't release results early and takes a lot of time to release them

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum covers all the essential topics that are required as per the branch and the job opportunities. The curriculum covers quite a everything that is required to stand out in the market. The exams are conducted quite well giving sufficient break to study for the respective subject's paper.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 147000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are quite good. Most of the students opting for placements are selected and get the placement. The college has tieups with good companies. The heighest package for extc branch for the year 2023-24 was 7 lakhs per annum. 90% students get placed whoerver sits for the placement. My plan is to get placed in a good company with a good package and then later I want to do masters after working for 2 3 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for my college for 1 yr is 1 lakhs 47 thousands. It is applicable for all the students from general category. The students belonging to lower casts and other catergorys can avail the reservation benefits for fees. Also there is a spcl quota for students belonging to economically backward class, so even if he is from general category then still he can get consession in the fees by applying from ebc/ews.

Campus Life

The college has 2 events in a year ETAMAX and FACES. FACES is a sports event while ETAMAX is a techno cultural event. The college has library consisting of good amount of reference books and study materials and sufficients place to sit and study there. The college also has different clubs who keep working and doing good campeigns. There are technical clubs like Aero club, ARC club, IEEE, IETE and other clubs like NSS who does a lot of social work and welfare awareness campeigns and some more clubs like drama club, marathi mandal, eco club, dance club, rhythm club etc.

Admission

The elligibility for th3 course was giving any exams outof MHCET or JEE. The whole admission process is done online and only the final step of admission that is feeling the admission form and paying for the respective college you have opted for.

Faculty

All the faculty members are quite well edycated. Their way of teeaching is good. And the practice exams they take for assesment are quite commandable and appreciated. They make sure that they teach us considering the job aspects of education and don't teach us just to pass the exams.

An Honest Review of My BSc Computer Science College Experience

Likes

The staff and faculty members are very supportive and good in nature.
Friendly student environment. Never heard of any ragging incident taken place.
They conduct Events, workshops, and different activities regularly and neatly.

Dislikes

Canteen food is limited and quality is average
Limited Campus placement opportunities and less industry experience
Lab equipment and resources needs to be improved,

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are limited in the college. A few companies visit during the final year, and students usually becomes eligible fromo the last semester. The packages offered are generally modest, mostly for entry-level roles. Only a small percentage of students get placed thorugh campus drives, while many prefer to apply off-campus for better opportunities. The college provides basic placement support such as info about job openings and guidance, but students need to build their own skills and prepare independently. After completing the degree, students prefer to pursue higher studied, professional courses, or entry-level IT jobs.

The reality check

Likes

The college professors are very particular about attendence and they will always keep there eye on your attendance and according to them attending is very important.
The college infrastructure is very good and there is vast space for students to chill and study library is also very spacious.
The teachers are always eager to solve our doubts and interact with us , the want the more and more students should approach them ask there doubts and discuss the syllabus etc.

Dislikes

I didn't like that sometimes over priority is given to the attendance I think a student can study well at his or her own sometimes only regularly attending lectures can't make you score more self study is important
The college don't have big ground earlier there used to be a big ground but it has gone for the construction work so, we only has a turf and a small ground.
The approach towards the teaching should be changed slightly and more practical based learning should be included.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement start from seventh semester and from third semester only students are enrolled in TPO Training and Placement Organisation where they train students withe various technical skills to acquire a good job. Various famous companies visit our college. Highest pakacge is of eight lakh per annum by Nice solutions. Percentage of student getting place on campus is less. After degree I will do a job.

Awesome college life during graduation

Likes

College was newly constructed so infrastructure was quite good.
Teacher's teaching was great as we were 3rd batch
Teacher's used to pay attention to every single students progress.

Dislikes

It was specifically much far from main city
Teacher's were very strict like used to call to parents if students are not present in class
Not much placement companies came to college. Placement rate was not so great

Placement Experience:

Placements for my college was not so good they had provided some companies which has came to take interviews but hardly fuse students got selected and higher number of students had place through consulting agency and they were place of campus even I also did not got placed through college and I had job through off campus. In all, 35 students have got placed via college placements and out of those hardly 20 students join the companies wear in they were placed.

Mit aoe has good faculties and teaching and academic are good enough
Not too crowded as intake is 1300 students of the college
Gender ratio is almost 4:3 as of my batch

Mit aoe Campus is very small hardly 4 to 5 acres
Mit aoe fees is costly comparitively to the other colleges
Mit aoe Campus is almost at the edge of pcmc makes hard for traveling to the main city

Placement Experience:

I think students are eligible for internship from 2 nd year and about placement it is nice with the comparison to others like Sinhgad ,marathwada and alll companies like jsw,cisco ,eq technology and many more are visited in placement cell

Infrastructure of college is bad, need to renew also there is so much pigeons in college
If you want to work on your professional development, college will not much help you, you have to build it by yourself.
My personal experience in this college is boring and mostly I experience difficult to make friends may be the reasons because it is only girl's college, but it depend on person to person

College provides Placement opportunites, Average placement is nearly 4.5laks. College will help you after the graduation for one year for the job opportunities if you didnt got job in final year. there are 25+ companies visits in our campus.

Our course is the most important thing in learning and for growth, but the way my college is handling it , is far too better to be compared. Every week an exam is arranged for each chapters, Mcq's , theory and oral-based exams are arranged.

Staffs were quite supportive and helpful.
Good faculty. They helped throughout semester and taught well.
There were placements from beginning of 4th year. So, it was quite good for me.

Dislikes

I don't liked the college campus. It's under construction. Hope will become better some day.
No events , no tech fests. No excitement
Good companies offering higher packages not visited college.

Placement Experience:

Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Selection rates or placements criteria were too low.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra

Remarks:

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.

Nice Learning Journey at GVAIET

l applied to other colleges like VJTI and Sardar Patel but got admission only at GVAIET. I chose GVAIET because of good faculty, updated syllabus, and better placements.
