What Students Say

Likes

The college looks amazing, straight out of a teen drama.
People are good and friendly, you can make many friends.
Overall exposure is very good and you can also meet people to work on different projects.

Dislikes

Very small size, it is only about 5 acres.
There is not even a playing ground for your favourite sports.
The internet provided by the university is terrible you cant even open basic services and speed is too low.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good overall except the journal writing and internship viva part, they contribute nothing to our learning and totally a waste of time. I am cyber security and i love this field and challenges in it. The exams are too frequent and you dont get much time for other things.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 260000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are alright, not too high not too low, brands like wipro, veritas and few others come here for placements and if you are good enough you will be selected with a good package, the average is around 8 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, Scholarships as much as i know, also the fees is about 260k per year for CSIT and you can pay it in two installments. There is no financial assistance available and no campus employment opportunities.

Campus Life

2.5

There are no clubs and fests are organized by mostly by the student council but you can take part and also vounteer for help. The library is good and you can find many amazing books there. We have a football and cricket team but there is place to play except for a little turf.

Admission

You can apply for admissions through their website or you can visit the college directly which is much better as their website sucks, the college takes a entrance exam which is very easy and it just a formality at best.

Faculty

1.5

The student to teacher ratio is good and most of them are good at teaching and also friendly enough that you can ask them any doubts. Overall my experience with teachers is good, they also support you to find internships and work on new projects.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

I chose symbiosis skills and professional university because of it's unique learning and teaching form as I have said earlier it is a skill based university so they have 70% practicals and 30% theory based learning which helps us understand and learn more where else other universities only focuses on book learning. The admission process of my college is you have to give one theory exam in which they check you intelligence and then you have a interview in which they ask you questions and about your self and what you wanna do the cutoff for symbiosis is 60% I.
