What Students Say
Likes
- Dedicated teachers, competitive environment, many clubs including technical and non technical.
Dislikes
- More focus on academics then on placement skills.
Course Curriculum Overview
I don't think the Course Curriculum prepares for real world at all. Exams are very frequently. In one semester we have to give- pre ct, ct , pue1, pue2, University exams and other additional assignments and video assignments.
Internships Opportunities
KIET Ghaziabad facilitates internships by collaborating with companies, industries, or research institutions. They may have established connections with organizations that offer internship opportunities to their students. And emails about internships and hackathons come very frequently on our kiet id. Teachers also sometimes talk about internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placements. The highest salary package offered was INR 48.89 LPA and the average salary package was INR 6.51 LPA. Some of the top recruiters included Amazon, Cisco, Wipro, Talent Next, Yantra Byte, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and TCS. My plans after getting degree is to join a startup based company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is in 2 parts 1. Academics fee + university fee per year 2. Hostel fee per year . Every year some changes occur so you have to confirm with college. Scholarships are available eg pragati scholarship for girls Few students also take Education loan.
Campus Life
It’s Awesome. Annual fest - epoc: this time it was on April , kashti , and many more . MUN. Also happens here, hackathon like INNOHACKS, sprinthacks also happens with very high reward prize Many Sports are here like basketball, volleyball, cricket etc . But my personal favourite billiards is also here. Many clubs like oddysey, kavyanjali, impecables, technocrats, gdsc kiet , innogeeks etc Placement process is good. Helpful teachers, good food court, reasonable rates of the food items in canteen. Hostels are also good, many sports activities, good library, many events both technical and non technical.
Admission
I got college from aktu counseling. My jee percentile was 89 I got CSE branch. But many students come from direct admission also . For this your 10 - 12 score should be good. And u have to give a test in which you should perform well to get good branch.
Faculty
1 teacher and 70 students. Many teachers teach with traditional way . I interact with few teachers frequently because of projects, hackathon and discussing about problems faced while learning new technologies.
