- I liked the teachers and the staff who were very supportive and helpful for the students
- I liked the management of the college everything was well organised and I did not have to face a lot of trouble
- The environment of the college was very safe the college is against bullying and there is a different department who handles all those cases
Dislikes
- I didn't like the canteen as I found a bit of unhygienic stuff
- People for loitering around here and there bunking their lectures
- I didn't not like that the elevators were only allowed to be used by the teachers and staff but not the students
Course Curriculum Overview
Firstly I chose BMS because I want to pursue MBA after my graduation that is why I chose BMS because the curriculum has subjects that relate to MBA. the curriculum somewhere not completely but prepares us for real world applications.. there should be improvement in the teaching aid as the teachers still use those old techniques to communicate with the students that is wrong the frequency and the timings of exam are perfect as there is enough amount of time to prepare for each examination
Placement Experience
The placement of my college is very good i study in Thakur college of science and commerce and students are allowed for internship from the first year itself that is paid internship or unpaid too Different companies such as aditiya birla ; icci bank ; etc visit the college the highest package is around 40000/ month .. I will prepare for my masters after the degree
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees of the autonomous colleges are a bit high but all the College the completely are under the Mumbai University has an average of 15000 rupees fees and it does not increase very rapidly there is a financial aid for students who are from economic weaker section they are charged just a minimal amount of fees to study in the university
Campus Life
The overall experience of the campus has been great there are various events and functions that take place in the college almost every month there are large amount of books present in the library which are free on the college ID there are facilities of Air conditioning and projectors for students in the classroom the sports and extracurricular activities is great there are opportunities for students to Excel in these fields as well
Admission
The eligibility of the course depends upon the college you are applying for the application form and the application dates were all displayed on the Mumbai University website The reservation benefits also depends upon colleges different colleges has different reservation policies the frequency is not much and the admission process needs improvement in the area of technical issues
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is a bit less I guess it would be 20 : 1 but the faculty are very qualified and very much helpful the faculty is very supportive and they never ever run away from their students problem we can easily interact any faculty at any time as they are very generous
