Likes

Campus life is great you have many clubs to join and make your engineering years great
Faculty are up to the mark with doctorates and professors are skilled enough to guide students efficiently
Curriculum will be updated as per the current industry trends

Dislikes

Gap between exams could be more than willing help students
Hostel food is not that good sometimes we've to go out for dinner despite posting hostel fee
In 2nd year there are 8-9 subjects per sem which is tedious that could be reduced and equally distributed overall 2-3 year

Curriculum is updated regularly our juniors have few extra subjects that we we're not having which is helpful for their placements Even in the exams the question paper will be not so easy The exams are conducted regulatory but the gaps are very less

There are several companies that come to our college for hiring students like Samsung semiconductors, Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Mercedes Benz, Bosch and many Median package is around 4-5 lakhs In dept like cs,ece there are high chances of placements worst case atleast you'll be placed for 2-3 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

I have joined in this college via comedk exam so it's fee is pretty high of 2 lakhs 20 thousand Scholarships are available Hostel for both boys and girls are there but there's no laundry facility and girls hostel is very safe with time restrictions which is considerate

Campus Life

There are many clubs like aero Kel, Motorsport kle, English Wordsworth club, drama club, musical, cultural There will be events going on every 2-3 months especial in ECE the events conducted will be good Good opportunity for sports as our campus is around 60 acres and have all sports

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are okish some old buildings are there I have no idea about girls hostel In boys hostel there are options for attached and non attached bathroom but no laundry facility Hostel equipped with good WiFi facility Mess is not so good

Hostel Fee: INR 45000 per year

Admission

I've joined through comedk exam and it's own counseling process Application form and fee all are available in comedk official website During admission process they could have extended few more days to pay fee for the first time

Faculty

Top faculty all have completed their doctorates and even professors help students but regarding grading system they're not so easy students have to earn it or beg it For some lecturers you have to schedule the time to meet them and for rest of them we can interact easily

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.
