All you need to know about Our college!

The course that I'm currently pursuing is electrical engineering and the reason I chose this course is that I can also continue in the field work or in the software sector by pursuing some of the technical software language-related courses. Also when it comes to overall development our department focuses on the making of socially responsible technocrats with high moral values who will continue to serve society in the future. The relevance comparatively with the technical world is very high as when it comes to theory and solving problems the questions are related to the live sessions in various industry-related work. Also, my course is not only limited to the electrical branch, but it also allows us to choose other engineering subjects from other branches which are known as open electives and professional electives.

Various internship opportunities were provided in the second year of my 4th semester and the college told us about various companies to which should we apply for earning certificates such as PCB, PCL and also All India council of Technical Education that is aicte was also introduced us in which we can apply in various domains for getting an internship.

A student is eligible for the placement if the student fits the interview criteria fixed by the company and also companies like TCS, Infosys, edelweisses, Triveni, etc. often visit our college for the requirements for the placements. The average package of student gets placed in is about 4,00,000 and the highest package goes up to 9,00,000. Apart from placements college also helps and motivates btech students to pursue Mtech, MBA, or have a startup and be an entrepreneur.

If you are a student who is from the open category then the fee structure lies approx 2,00,000 & if you are from reserved categories then the fee structure is comparatively around 45 to 50,000. Also, the open category students can apply for various schemes such as ews, minority, tfws & scholarship schemes whereas for the reserved category and obc category students the scholarship schemes are available. If you are a student under a scholarship and you are from the open category then you have to pay an amount up to 80,000 and if you are from the reserve category and under the scholarship scheme then you have to pay an amount such as a minimum of 1000 & obc category students upto 40,000. I'm an open candidate under the tfws category so the amount payable for every year is around 15,000.

There are various clubs in our college namely the literary club, Rotaract club, and YIN KALA club, and apart from all these every department has a specific forum in which the president, vice president, joint secretary, secretary, and treasurer are elected from the department itself. Every department has its own hackathons, technical events, freshers, and farewells. apart from this the huge event of college takes place which is known as the ashamed in which every department participates and competes with each other and gets various exciting prizes after securing first second and 3rd positions in sports, ramp walk, fashion shows, dance and singing competitions.

At my time the minimum criteria required for admission to the BTech undergraduate was a minimum of 75% marks needed in the 12th or qualifying examination and you should have appeared in any relevant exams such as mht-cet or jee to take admission in BTech. There are 3 cap rounds for taking admission in any college a student can go up to 2 cap rounds and freeze the college if he or she wants to but he cannot appear for the 3rd round if the college is allotted to him or her in the first 2 rounds. Also if the student wants to take admission in the allotted College in the first round itself he or she has to take admission within 2 days or the required amount of time given to the candidate.

My college provides a good student and faculty ratio which implies the fact that the students are able to interact with teachers and clear their doubts in a particular session as well. Apart from this the faculty also conducts various quizzes from the unit itself and provides all the notes and YouTube videos in the Google classrooms that make learning efficient and easy. Various previous year question papers are discussed in the classroom so that the student can easily understand the concept and also live examples are given which makes the learning effluent and intersting. All the faculties in my department have minimum qualification of mtech and some are also pursuing their PhD degree while teaching and have minimum teaching experience of 5 to 6 years. In every aspect, the teachers are providing the best knowledge to students whether it is learning or offline learning.
