Entrance Preview
After 12th examinations, I started preparing for PET exams which is an entrance exam for getting engineering college in Chhattisgarh. I choose Shri Shankaracharya Engineering College because it is one of the top college of Chhattisgarh.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure of computer science and engineering branch is related to all practical work in computers. It is of two types hardware and software. This course contains programming language and some theories subject. In first semester all subjects are same for all branch.
Internships Opportunities
No this college does not provide any internship. If the student wants to do internship then they has to do it from somewhere else. They can take permission from college by submitting application forms to the head of the department of their branch.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are good for those who know how to take advantage of these opportunities. Many big companies like Capegemini, Cognizant, Infosys, Innoeye,Motif,Genpact, Tech Mahendra and many more are come for placements in the college.
College Events
Events are celebrated in our college in very beautiful way. Many types of events are organised like technical, cultural, management etc. The central india's biggest college fest named SAMVID is organized by the students of the college. Many celebrities also come in this events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible for all the students. They also provide the facilities to all students that they can submit their fees in parts. Any other fee is not taken by the college. Only exam fees is submitted in the time of submitting exam form to the college University.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is provided by government for the students who belong to poor families. College also provide different scholarship but it is only for those students who are in merit list of competitive exams like JEE or PET or branch opener.
Campus Life
Campus life is very awesome here. The campus is very big and interesting. There is canteen, music room, gym, big ground, central library and many more which are very useful for the students of the college. Bus facilities also provided to the students who are living far from the college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities is good but the food provided by them is tasteless. If you want to live in hostel then you have to adjust with the food facilities. All other facilities are very good. The rooms are clean. Mess is hygienic. Maids are come weekly for cleaning washrooms etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are also very good and helpful just like the faculties. They provide notes to the juniors and also useful tips about the subjects.
Exam Structure
Exams are conducted as per the CSVTU syllabus and structure. Class tests are conducted in every branches to prepare the students for the main end semester examination. Labs and workshop are organised regularly. Lab are full with all those equipment which are used in experiments.
Admission
After PET result I got the college I opted for. After that I went to the college and confirmed my admission for computer science and engineering branch by submitting my report card and other details for verification of the process and complete registration.
Faculty
Faculties of this college are good. All the faculties are very helpful for each and every student. They support and help students in their studies and also help in their project work. Facilities are so friendly that any student can not hesitate to ask any doubt.
