Remarks

They were very rude to us. Our needs were never got fulfilled. The higher authorities mostly disapproved our suggestions how to improve education management system. Canteen owner was restricted to widen his stalls which was a cause of worry for the students. Very low scope of sports as there were only 4-5 games that was present in the campus to play.

No college doesnt provide any internship facility.

Tech fests , sports day. These events were quite bigger in scale. And i was the participant in most of the events.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah to toppers in 12tstandard a substantial amount of money was provided in scholarship

It was a quiet average experience & the gender ratio b/w boys girls was quite low. But there were no discrimination on religion or economic status

Yeah they were quite helpful to motivate us for the exams and the cultural programs that we participate in.

Yeah this thing was one of the good things there..most of the times my day ended very rocking.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.

The only negative thing about the college is about fee submission. If a student fails to submit his fee on time , no extension is granted rather late fee fine is imposed. Also if not paid before exams, the student is barred to sit in the exams....Read More
