Remarks

The college management is good,everything is under their control and strict actions are taken against the pupil at fault.

I didnt took any entrance exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is at par with the most prestigious and reputed colleges in India like IIT kanpur,IIT Mumbai etc.

Internships Opportunities

Although I could not get an internship during my college days but there were a lot of opportunities for the serious students. There were companies like Ebay,Cisco,which paid a handsome stipend like 55000 per month.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities were massive during the placement days. There were a lot of start ups and brand companies visiting the campus. Flipkart,DeShaw,Citrix, Ebay,Myntra were among the top notch paying companies with a highest package of 24 lac p.a. In all there were 103 companies visiting the campus and almost everybody who sat for the placements got placed.

College Events

I can't really say that a lot of events happened in college but there were events in all fields like Tech-Talks,Cultural fest,Marathon etc. The marathon was conducted every yea, to give a tribute to the soldiers of Indian Army and the money collected was denoted to the families of the martyrs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

During my time the fee structure was feasible,It was 1.38lacs p.a. But recently the college has been given the Deemed University tag,so I think they have increased the fees upto 4 lacs p.a. But I am not sure of it,please cross check.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not really enquired about any of the scholarship,loans. But I think they have an option for it and there is a procedure to be followed.

Campus Life

The Campus life is pretty ok,you cant bunk classes very easily and frequently but then everybody finds a way to do it. The infrastructure I must say is not what you expect out of a good engineering college its very small Area wise. No competitions as such but yea a few events here and there.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility was very decent atleast for the boys hostel. It was a triple sharing room with attached let-bath and hot water boilers in each room. A study table for each and every member of the room. About the food and mess,we had an option of choos

Alumni/Alumna

Yes alumni network is pretty good and people do help their juniors. There is a alumni meet conducted every year in college and a few online forums and facebook pages where you can interact.

Exam Structure

I am sure everybody gets scared with this thought just to let you guys know exams were conducted twice in three months(Internal) and a semester end exam at the end of 5th month of the semester. They were pretty chilled out although we had Relative grading

Faculty

The faculty is also very knowledgeable and interactive.

The faculty's are well qualified, and they have a good teaching methods.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Likes

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

There is a discipline in our college and good atmosphere
there is good faculty in our college and nature is good

from 5 th semester there will be campus place ment is there There will many companies are visited , like Amazon, google, There is 60 lakh per annual but i didn't known which companies there will be 80 percent students are getting placement my plan is to make money and help the poor peoples There is beast placement in our college , there will be a internships and good here for Hailey package in this college

Good Infrastructure and Career Opportunities

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

Campus is good and mainly located near Whitefield.
too good supportive professor. Staff are too chill. Some staff are like our bestfriend's.
Lab equipment are good . You are not facing any issue with pc.. it's good

Dislikes

There is only few events in a year. I think only 3 events.
Hostel building is too bad. And hostel food is too bad.
There is no field to play games like cricket, football.

Placement Experience:

After 8 sems we are eligible for placements. TCS ,Dell and many companies visited mvj. Highest package of mvj was 22lakhs per annum. Basically some companies ask CGPA at above 8. My plan is a developer after my engineering in python language or Else I will continue my dad business

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Why you should join PESU - pros and cons.

I applied to KIIT, VIT, DSCE, BMSIT along with the usual IIT and NIT with BITS. I did not clear JEE, nor was able to get somewhat of a good score for CSE in BITS. I wanted to pursue CS, so instead of choosing a course I did not like in BITS, I chose CS in PESU. I chose PESU because the placements outdo the others, while also having a better reputation than the others. For our batch, it was giving the admission test called PESSAT, through which you got a rank, and based on that you could enter the counselling round and choose your course based on your rank. pesu is banglore based and closer to my house while vit was really far and the expenses were out of the roof and massive overcrowding in vit also considering the temperature in vit chennai. amrita banglore was just not right for me , dint know anyone and as an introvert its a pretty active college with presentations and more speaking oppurtinities in each class and just didnt feel right ....Read More

Review about PES UNIVERSITY BANGALORE

Except this college I had applied to RV college of engineering which is the goated college of banglore but because of the cutoff in that college I was not able to join that college. I was allocated to BMSIT college in my 1st round of Kcet but the college was the second branch of BMS College so I choose PES . No I didn't get any rejection from other college but the only issue was the cutoff of RV college of engineering i didn't had enough rank to join there . To join into our college there is a common entrance exam conducted by Karnataka government known as KCET .most students prefer this exam as it reduces the fee of your college.
