Famous culturals is Recharge it happens once in a year But there are sudden events in period of 3months There are many hackathon and symposium In Library there are wide ranges of books students can take book using library card Labs are fully equipped and for cse, it related course classroom have smart board Sports are good but students have to stay after class hours for training but od is provided for all

Admission

I applied for ssn engineering college but I didn't get the course I wished so I prefer some good college in Chennai which is next to it I have got selected in many colleges like VIT , SRM UNIVERSITY, SVCE, but I choosed REC over them There are two ways to get set in REC 1. Councelling quota 2. Management quota

Faculty

4

In one class there are 64 students and We have separate teachers for lab and theory hours Some faculties are very friendly We students don't like students care There are three internal exams (cat 1,cat2,cat3) Cat1,cat2 theory exams Cat3 MCQ exam For subjects like Java,c, python we have to do it in computer not by written exam similar to leetcode problems Question paper is generated by AI which is difficult at times but we can adjust to it in a short span

Other Applied Colleges

I would rate the curriculum 4/5. It is relevant and fairly comprehensive, covering core concepts, practical sessions, projects, and industry-oriented topics. However, more hands-on training and updated industry technologies could make it even better.

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.
