Course Curriculum Overview

4

The first year went by smoothly because of the subjects being very easy, i could relate the subjects to my 11th and 12th courses. I like management and taking leadership, therefore it drove me to choose Business Administration. We have a Job Readiness subject for preparing us for the future interviews, it has impoved my english speaking skills which also boosted my confidence and i don't feel that much nervous now during presentations. There are a few flaws like the time table clashing of different professors, and some classes unable to occur due to lack of professors. The exams are prepared by the professors. Since the professors prepare, i personally find it easy because it is mostly from their notes but it an average student would rate it's difficulty then it's a 8/10. Our mid semesters, 1.5 hours is the timing for 20 questions and containing 20 marks. Finals- 100marks for 3hours.

Internships Opportunities

3

Dr. Sisir Ranjan Dash is our internship incharge and supervises us in choosing a suitable internship for us. He takes weekly reports and overall report during and after the internship respectively. The recommendation letter goes from the university and then the company evaluates the CV and decides on whether take accept the student for the internship or not.

Placement Experience

4.5

There are various placements that Centurion offers, for example their tie up with MarutiSuzuki. Courses are having collaboration with companies like this and we can easily get a placement through these courses. Also there are various placement offers that come through the university after the courses that we can apply for and it is mostly around 200000rs lpa to 700000rs lpa. More than 70% of students get placements every year from the university. With the degree i shall sort for a placement from the university for job experience and then go for MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The academic/tuition fees for Bachelor's in Business Administration is 33000rs per semester having 6 semesters in total. One time fee 23000rs and advance 10000rs during admission including 7000rs examination fees. For every year it is 73000rs (33000 × 2 + 7000) For bus transportation it is 30000rs per year.

Campus Life

4.5

There are flashmob and other small cultural programs but there is the annual fest "Gajajyoti" celebrated every year for 3 consecutive days. Involving sponsors, talent shows, and stars. Both students and professors participate in the event and have so much fun. Books in the library doesn't have so much variety and lesser books than students. There are smartboard for each class. Variety of sports and opportunities to play for the university. University has a CSR department and does social work and involves students in it.

Admission

I did apply for SOA university but i backed off due to the high fees structure and bad environment. As i mentioned earlier in the things that i like about my university, i love the environment and energy here. I didn't get any rejection because I didn't consider to accept SOA. Centurion was recommended to me by a professor, also my uncle and under his supervision i took admission here. Eligibility is 80% in 12th and i also took an entrance test for application and passed as i got accepted. The admission is that they email us the time and date after the entrance exam, arriving with the 10th and 12th marksheet and certificates and 12th migration certificate, 6 passport photographs and birth certificate xerox.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is very cooperative and understanding but the management building is a little short staffed looking at the amount of students it has. The faculty were totally cool with us asking doubts several times, they even gave us their break time though they were busy just to clear our doubts. In my experience of these 3 semesters i have many faculties that i like some of them i shall mention below- Dr. Deepti Mishra (Ex Head of department and human resources management professor) Dr. Ronismita Mishra (Current Head of department and economics professor) Dr. M. Heminlal ( Guest faculty for Job Readiness) Dr. Swetalina Mishra ( Human resource management professor) My personal favourite professor would definitely be Ronismita ma'am. She is a really good mentor and guide to me. And i appreciate her and her efforts for my betterment. There weren't many faculties that i didn't like but there is one particular professor. That would be Mr. Sanjeev Mishra. He was mostly absent.

Other Applied Colleges

Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University - [SOA] | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] {Hons.}

Due to high fees structure and the environment of the college area. And negative feedbacks from my seniors studying there.

It was good as it is in the outskirts so we find out the way to live with the people who are in front of us. With friends and classmates. Learned many things who to deal with the situation. How to manage if something is missing. Those memories are for life.

Remarks:

Positive remarks are that fewer students with better Teaching and faculty keep an eye on each and every student and the negative remark is that the campus is too small it is just a single building but as it is said don't judge the book by its cover also if a student wants a big campus so they can't adjust there bt once they enter in that college then they will love it so that's all.
