Course Curriculum Overview

4

The reason I chose this college was it was autonomous and it doesn't come under MU though it is. But the papers are all prepared by our college faculties. We get only a month before a term of a sem, and they would be still covering up topics 2 days before exam. Although this applies only for engineering students. And only if u have 75% attendance rate than you are allowed to give exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees is 137000, and there's a scholarship for ebc sc st students which is 50% of tution fees. So yearly I only have to 78000. The scheme name is rajarshi chattrappti sahu maharaj shikshan shulk shishyavrutti yojna

Campus Life

5

Alegria or tech Algeria which is held around january-February, the tech Allegra is a part of Algeria and it starts earlier around September where you get various tech workshops to participate and get certificated. The libraries have got journals, reference books and study materiel like stuffs and there's reading room for all students. some of our classrooms are a/c rooms, drawing rooms, seminar rooms, halls totally the infrastructure is not top notch but enough. Facilities of the college are richly available for students who studies in pcacs, they conduct most of the activities around the college. And there's many comities in college like csi, gdsc, toh, IEE etc which helps you and provide necessary skills in their particular field. And we have sports community for both girls and boys, you have to showcase your skills to participate in each committee

Admission

I chose this college over other college cuz like I said I didn't wanted to travel far for studying. Though I didn't got in other colleges cuz my cet score was low in other colleges. The one I got in was through minority category, Pillai college have a minority for Kerala/ Malayalam mother tongue students where u don't need a high cet or jee score. You just have to give the cet exam and should have passed 12th/diploma. The cutoffs for the CET exam is high right now around 88% is the start and there will be big competition during admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty members are nice to other faculty members but not to students. Though they help us through exams and stuffs. The exams are pretty much easy if u see like you willl get a chance to write an exam if u failed in that particular subject and the supple papers gets easier. The passing marks of a subject is 45% of the total marks.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
