Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is completely relavent to the industry needs. But level of complexity can be observed lesser. But if a student is highly intrested to learn and apply skills, 100% support is provided from all ends of the hierarchy.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internships can be started through placement cell from second year itself. Full time employments can be offered through the internships provided. Summer internship program is mandatory for every student according to their curriculum every year. The selection process is according to the student performance and skills. Stipends are provided according to the company guidelines.

Placement Experience

5

Multiple placemets can be offered to each student. Campus recruiting training is given from second year itself which gives strong foundation required for placements. I have started my internship at Target company as a product engineer through placement cell in my third year. By the end of 7th semester college ensures that almost every student gets placed. Highest package is 23LPA and average package is around 9LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for upcoming batches is 85,000(tuition fee) + extra fees(admission fee, NBA fee, lab fee, etc. ). Extra fees is different from department to department but wouldn't exceed 20,000 for first year. For the remaining academic years the extra fees will be less than 10,000. Campus will provide free campus recruitment training after second year. If you belong to OBC or EWS category, the fee structure will be reduced by 35000 from your tuition fee. Whereas as for SC/ST categories, 100% fees is reimbursed. This reimbursement is considered for only students whose admissions are taken on tseamcet counselling bias.

Campus Life

5

Fests, cultural activities and extracurricular activities of our college are highly joyful and student driven. Every opinion of any student will be considered and implemented. Technical fests, traditional days, womens day celebrations, bathukamma, holi, annual day, freshers, farewell are the major events of our college. We have cultural clubs, ngo clubs and technical clubs which are open for all the students with their approaches.

Admission

One of the main reasons to prefer this college is that its a women's college with high security. It is the center of the city with wide range of options for transportation. Placements and curriculum are parameters that attracted me more towards the college. My admission was happened through tseamcet counselling. Cut off for cse was around 30k. My rank was 27k.

Faculty

5

Mentor to student ratio is 1:20. Mentors allow their students to be comfortable not only regarding academics but also with personal issues. Attendance and academic performances are frequently monitored and feedback is given to students helping to improve. Academically poor students are treated with special personal care. It is an autonomous college, all the exams are held in our college premisis and the curriculum is designed by the college committee. Entire syllabus is designed in such a way that it is completely relevant to the industry needs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
