Likes

I like the college campus very much as it is vast and is good spot overall just to hangout
I loved the college infrastructure in some places
I like that the college has 3 canteens in total

Dislikes

The facility is bit estranged from the students
The wifi in the college is always slow and most of the times not working
The management is very rude about the students who failed to pay the fee on time

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is decided from the main board that is VTU so the syllabus is ok I guess as the course concentrates more on the theory part rather than helping us develop the skills required to get a job in the future

Placement Experience

The placements in our college is not that special as we live in a city where none of the companies exist aslnd most of the jobs offered to the students are just sales related and as there is currently a recession going on we can't expect much

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure varies depending on what way you got the admission in the college. I personally joined in this college through a management seat which costs me a whopping 2 lakhs per year and I haven't opted for hostel so I don't pay that and I have friends in my class who get some scholarships and even some students who joined the college through some special cases with 0 fee

Campus Life

There aren't any clubs and all in the college and the social life is okay in the college. The infrastructure of the campus is the key aspect of the whole college as the campus is a beautiful park inspired and there greenery everywhere

Admission

I couldn't choose any other colleges as my parents didn't want to send me to another city to study so they just selected this college as it is in the same city we are currently in and the admission process is pretty straightforward as you can just go to the college and fill out some paperwork and pay the fee and you are the now the student of this esteemed institution

Faculty

The faculty in this college is a little estranged from the students and don't interact with us outside the class and they neen sometimes don't even bother to answer out doubts when the class is over or any other time except their class

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.
