Remarks

The college was very good. Due to repeatedly changing Registrars of the college, it faced difficulties but now it has come to some stability.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Its course is well designed although the quality of faculty has dropped. The labs are very good. Its good for those who want to learn. There still good teachers there who help a lot. The major project is research driven for those who choose to. I am working in a German core company only because of my project which was research driven. The college has provided a very good platform to me.

Placement Experience

3

Interviews for internships started in 2019 only. An independent Tnp cell was established in 2018 due to which the placements improved significantly in 2019.

College Events

4.5

The college is full of events and fests for those who take part in them. Most of the students don't stay in college for their fest but the ones who do, they enjoy a lot. Its always good take part in events like Model United Nation and Jaypee Youth Parliament.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees remained constant only the hostel fees increased. Academic fees were 85000 each for all 8 semesters. The hostel fees in the 1st year were 42500 and increased by 2500 every 1.5 years. Apart from this 4000 per month for personal expenses is more than enough.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not get any scholarship nor did I take any loan. Since I have no experience of both I would not like to make any comment on it.

Campus Life

5

Campus life was amazing. Something you will not forget all your life. It was worth time spending. The gender ratio was equal and diverse enough. There were ACM IEEE and Technovator clubs for technology enthusiasts. There is a shortage of grounds because of being in the hills but students still play.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel fees in the 1st year were 42500 and increased by 2500 every 1.5 years. The hostel was decent. Washrooms were common but clean enough. There are single as well as sharing rooms for 2 students per room. Food was better compared to almost all other private colleges. Hostel life is the most amazing thing and something that I miss the most.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is poor. The convocation has not taken place in the last 5 years. Students still waiting for it.

Admission

I did not score so well in my JEE mains exam. My 12th marks were comparatively better and my rank was somewhere between 3 to 3.2 lakhs. Rank was made considering both the 12th marks as well as boards that year unlike now. I was getting admissions in private colleges like VIT, KIIT, Manipal, and UPES but the fees were considerably high. In June I applied for it and got admitted in July end.

Faculty

3

There is both type of teachers there good as well as bad. Every faculty member starts with good energy, if the response is good then they continue to put their effort but if the response of the students is not good then they won't force students. It is true that a lot of the good faculty have moved to other colleges. We were lucky to have some of them at out time. But it is still worth.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.
