Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is mediocre and okay. The exam structure is such that it becomes significantly easy to pass the semester and get a good overall grade point. An overnight study and some previous year questions are sufficient enough to pass the exams.

Placement Experience

3.5

As far as 3rd-year internships are concerned, that is on your own. The institute nor the placement cell plays any role. But for the final placements, the cell is quite active and provides decent placement opportunities.

College Events

2

The college isn't eventful as one might consider it to be. The annual fest is the biggest deal and that is okayish. Like when the fest comes most of us just run away in our trips and leave the fest. Sports fest and tech can also be considered as events but they have the same story.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure varies for every. We batch. For the 2015 batch, the fee structure involved a tuition fee if 85k and a hostel fee of 49k. For every subsequent batch, the fee can be assumed to increase by around 5k or 10k and the hostel fee can also be increased in any of the semesters.

Admission

Applied on the institute website link for joint counseling for all Jaypee sister institutes. Shortlisting was done on AIR rank and subsequently different counseling dates. The admission process involved the selection of an institute and specific stream Choices in the institute. The board then alloted based on the seats available in the same.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty-wise the institute is good. The faculty is knowledgeable and understanding. Although there are always a few "exceptions" and stringent professors. Overall I won't say it's a great faculty but it is by far good. If you find the right guy, you can publish a research paper with the faculty whilst still being an undergrad.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.
